A lot of people on here have very short memories. In our relegation season in 2014/15, we were 8 points ahead of ross county in January. After 18 games, they had less points, 10, than we have now. Their bad run continued into February, and they had only 12 points from 24 games. They then went on a great run and stayed up comfortably.
The situation is there are 5 teams down near the bottom; through our own inadequacies we have contrived to give these teams between a 7 and 9 point gap. We have I believe the best squad of all these teams, so as long as the players play to their ability and the experienced players show leadership, and there are signs that this may be improving slightly recently, then we should be capable of scrabbling above a couple of other teams to survive.

Seems Raith are scunnered as he will be ineligible after being listed as as a sub for sevco against east stirling. They may be begging us to take him back?

One positive I will say about Hutton is that he never hid, unlike some of the squad this season. And hasn't cried off constantly injured like Quinn has since he joined us in January.

Before any business would dream of starting up they would, I assume look at the location and this is the key area for me.
I can't see many making the journey for ANY business if that's all that was there.
Location, location, location for me mate but that's only my opinion.
PS You only need to look at the recent thread where there was a considerable amount of forum users who don't stay in Paisley, and many never have.
No passing trade seems like it's a loser from the start.
Keep it what it is but better managed, that would be sufficient.

Every player is different and needs to be coached / managed / advised differently.  I would not want my club to try and tie young players into overly long contracts which only seem to result in unhappy and under performing youngsters . Nor would i want my club to accept the first five figure cheque waved in their direction and see one of our youngsters head off somewhere and be bench fodder at best.
Its all about career progression. Ads you say, if we do the right thing it can only be good for Saints to gather more of these guys in the future.

Could we not name the bit of road  where you enter the stadium car park which runs along the west stand " Love Street 2 " , put a sign on the stand , and just refer to, it as Love Street .

It was only a couple of games ago some were suggesting big Jack Baird should be run out of town for costing us the Falkirk game.

Waters is a  good player , goes up and down the wing and can put over a decent cross , Alloa fans are very happy with him
 

If we could move Jason on and bring in a left back , a holding midfielder and someone experienced in playing just behind the striker then I think it could work out as a good piece of business , Jason is coming back onto form , and whilst he is being linked with a move to Ross County just now , I think his agent may have leaked that info to see if any other clubs are interested . Keep an eye out for Mansfield town coming in with a bid , now managed by Steve Evans who showed interest in Jason when he was with Mansfield.

I'm still perplexed by this continued word salad of business terms that is served up by St Ricky.
If I am reading it correctly he's saying he's willing to give the club £2500 today in return for what amounts to 15 years of executive club level membership which currently sells for £1200 per annum.
So he's prepared to put up £2.5K in return for receiving £18K of benefits.
Then after those 15 years he'd like his £2.5K back.
You can throw all the business jargon you like at that scheme but I think anyone with a degree of common sense can see that it's absolutely fucking barking.

We got Isma through MacPhee being mates with Cathro, who was a coach at Rio Ave at the time.
What is curiously missing from all the stuff in the papers about MacPhee is his contracts got us Djemba-Djemba...

The initial loan was to purchase the shares to take SMISA to 29%. That will get paid off around 3 years, likely less than that with numbers being higher than the 1000. Once the loan is clear we then move onto purchasing the GLS shares, but I'm not sure of the mechanics and timing of that. Like many the key part is to get SMISA over the 25% threshold asap with no loans associated to it.

^not at all. Saints were a joy to watch at times in the first half with some great passages of play. Not enough cutting edge but being behind at ht was an injustice. Second half Saints did most of the pressing but queens were always dangerous. Fully deserved the win and a great strike to win it and sent the fans mental.
Every single player came over at the end with clenched fists raised. What a huge win to get the monkey off our backs and a great performance from the boys especially in the trying circumstances

A long ban for Miller would be justified. Biting has no place in the game.

Before Baird was sent off, we were well in control of a match away to one of the better teams in the league.
Results sadly haven't been coming, but I think we ARE playing better - substantially so.

I wouldn't expect Baird red to be rescinded. He retaliated , he was wrong and he deserves to be punished.
However ,IF Miller did bite, he should be called to answer for his actions , if guilty he should serve a long ban . This sort of behaviour has no place in football.

Ive said on the match day thread, if Baird has retaliated because Miller bit him , the club should get behind the player , back him up and expose Millers disgusting and deplorable act. 
I am not for one minute excusing Jack Baird, what he did was wrong and he should be punished but what Miller is alleged to have done it a lot worse & he should be brought before the beaks to answer the allegations, if nothing else it might make him think about his actions and prevent it happening again.
 There is no place for this sort of behaviour in Football.
