Would be great to get him signed up for that fee. Get him on a decent length contract and be prepared for the fact that he will move on to bigger things, and we can make a bit of money on him - after he's helped us to some measure of success...

We struggled with S McGinn in the side for anything resembling a midfield. Without him we cant even muster a struggling midfield. We just dont have a credible attacking or holding midfield capability. Hence long balls punted up to the midget penalty kick f**ker-upper as our only out for the defence.
in games like these we really need the attitude that Rice has instilled at Hamilton of going out to outscore the opposition. If they concede two they are after three or more. When we conceded one we fold, indeed even when we take the lead we are still liable to folding.
Kearney needs to go for goals tomorrow, then park the bus Wednesday, then goals again at Hamilton. Our only way up, and out is to score a lot more goals. Oh for wee Gavin Reilly!

Dundee end will be full and making a lot of noise which travels right up the park due to their location. W7  is great but their noise is limited due to being at the end of the stand looking across to the main stand. We need to be vocal on Saturday loud and constant cheer our  boys on too a win. COYS.

Bit concerned now with Kearney but we are simply not good enough.Concerned also that he didn’t take the opportunity to watch Dundee in the flesh against Celtic preferring instead to go the cinema in Glasgow.Long term he has to move permanently to Scotland and stop all this commuting to Ireland.Recognise he has family there but he will have a decision to make long term.This situation is not perfect.

I have been working in Northern Ireland this week . Today I was working North of Antrim up to Ballymoney ,at lunch time I dropped into a wee place called Bellaghy for a bite to eat . The guy serving me , hearing the accent enquired where I was from , when I said Paisley , next question was which team ... as usual !  When I said Saints, he looked surprised. “pop your head into that office over there and tell them who you support “ 
Turns out the guy in the office is an organiser for the Belfast youth football group who visited us a couple of weeks back , he was singing the clubs praises , said the youngsters were given the whole package and treated like kings . Particularly singled out TF for praise saying he had the young uns captivated with his stories and enthusiasm. The lads have asked if they can wear .St.Mirren strips next season !!  
At times it is  easy to become disillusioned with our club and sometimes things seem bleak  , but it’s good to remind ourselves we can occasionally do things right

Maybe, just maybe, the manager who replaces Kearney will be a better man manager.  Maybe the new manager will build his players up before an important cup tie instead of declaring them to be underdogs. 

I don't think any sensible person is suggesting that we sack the whole management team. That's never going to happen at this stage.
The answer is to replace Kearney with MacPherson and keep everything else the same. It's MacPhersons team anyway so there won't be the argument of it not being his team levelled against him.
We're only 3 points from safety. 1 game. All is not lost. I definitely think we will roll the dice again at some point between now and the end of the season if results don't improve.

We need a centre midfield player in the Shug Murray style. Tansey is not doing it and McGinn is not fully fit. I would sign another midfield player to replace Tansey and give MCGinns place to Brad Lyons. 

Or, just give the goal claiming it crossed the line before hitting the post. 

The thing is we could have snatched a late equaliser if it stayed 1-0 till near the end. I don't mind losing to good play and spectacular goals but 2 gifts is definitely not on!

Any Saints fans who are at Ibrox should be ashamed of themselves. All games against the Old Firm should be boycotted.
