As Slash had stated in a few posts above, the issue here is that a man of his position/standing has written those words.

The reality is if he still held that Senior post in the bank or indeed any other company he would be told to resign or fired, reason being writing things like that constitutes hate crime whilst simultaneously dragging our club name through the mud. Also sponsors to not like being associated with stuff like that.

The reason no-one has heard from him or indeed any other board members is because his position is totally untenable.

Precisely the point that has been made earlier, yet not understood by some.

Regarding your last point - I have been thinking the very same thing, I was going to take my boy to the Boxing Day game at Ibrox, a move not encouraged by my wife I would add, point is with the backdrop of John’s comments our fans could potentially be in for a far tougher ride than normal and I for one don’t fancy exposing an 11 year old to that.

I was in there a couple of seasons back and whilst I cannot be certain it was suggested that a young lassie got smacked with a flying bottle during the game (saw her getting carried out to the right of me).

I would never forgive myself if something bad happened when the situation is easily avoided simply by not going.

Put simply it stirs bad blood from them to us!!

Let's not feel sorry for them though.
They are down there because they are a poor team at this level.... just like they were the year they got relegated.
Although they have prominent strikers County kept a clean sheet. County dominated the midfield and exposed their lack of pace back to middle... JG's coaching team will have seen this too... and we should capitalise on it....
Danny Mullen looked more lively when he came on than the others... he might get a start, but he wasn't deemed good enough for is at this level...
I just hope we don't have to go a goal down to start playing AND that we don't sit back or ease off if we go in front. County kept on it for almost the full 90 minutes...and they were shell-shocked.....  C O Y S

We were great last night and I do think we’ll be too strong for Dundee, hope Kyle keeps his place, just need to keep the Dundee frontline quiet.

They will be hurting after last night that’s for sure!!

Another wee update after another strong start to the season.
Just two defeats in 13 competitive games this season (did lose one more on a penalty shoot out). Unbeaten in five games now and we have won two in a row. Sitting comfortably in 7th place, and in a better position now than we were this time last season, in which we posted our highest league finish for a generation. New boys are settling in just fine. It's a good time to be a buddie, well done Jim and Lee, what a job they're doing 👏

Ok, it could me me (but don’t think it is), I finally managed to sort mine and my sons (U16) tickets out. When I was hovering over the seats (areas M & P only presently on offer on Livi site) I could only select adult £26 or registered disabled (£17) at that juncture, however later on in the process I could alter this to my son (£10 / U16) provided he is linked to my account - definitely was not allowing me to do this earlier (reason I called Livi ticket office).

It’s ticketmaster that run the Livi ticketing, it’s not bloody easy that’s for sure, good thing is that I’ve got both tickets in the wallet thing on my phone where I just need to now scan QR codes on the day.

Advice to anyone that’s thinking of going, don’t leave last minute, start early on in week with Livi ticket system or by at Greenhill Road!!

Think we can actually get a result in this game,  the way Jim sets up the team we'll probably pick up as many points away from home, plus Jack will be preoccupied eyeing up our new recruits and keeping tabs on Jack Alnwick for next season
    I'll go  1-1

Jack Ross reminds me of my first wife, who arrived at my house with a removal van to take the three piece suite, and left me a garden chair in its place.
In this case, Scott Allan and Drey Wright were the garden chairs.
I hope all those fannies who went down to Sunderland a few years ago on their "we love you Jack" bus have had time to reflect on their idiocy. Since moving to Hibs all he has done is try to feck us over.

I can’t understand why we would take such a risk in letting Cammy go - never mind to a direct rival.

Cammy should have been on the park on Sunday, what happens if the boy from Wolves doesn’t click or fit in to the team, we’ve then lost an asset in Cammy.

This makes no sense to me from a footballing and business perspective??

Tetrapaks are ok. Take in a litre of Tesco orange juice and share it around.
(And bottles of any sort have been banned from football stadiums for decades. It is in the Club rules and the SPFL stadium rules. Surprised the Club didn't get pulled up for allowing bottles in for the restricted attendance games.)

Really disappointed with the way the club has behaved and (again) communicated over this.
Firstly all season ticket holders are told they can get into the game, but the general sale information is just bolted on to the end of that announcement, anyone visiting the club website as a PAYG punter wouldn't even know they can buy tickets for the match on Sunday. Very poor IMO.
As far as the seating plan is concerned it looks very much like every stand except the Main Stand is fully open with zero restrictions - so why not just say that instead of "every season ticket holder will get in"? Such a strange way of communicating what should have been very welcome (and overdue) news!?
We still don't have season ticket cards - which is another shambles - we've had 18 months to sort out our new ticketing platform and get things all in place - yet everything has been rushed at the very last minute meaning season tickets were late - we had the re-registration mess - and now we don't even have our season ticket cards going into September FFS.
Yes we can apparently use our barcode to get in - you think everyone will still have that to hand? Will everyone know that's what they're supposed to do?
I expect long queues at the gates on Sunday with inevitable delays as folk try and get in. Ridiculous.
And as for the treatment of the away fans - frankly I'm just embarassed about how we've played that. Even if the whole of the main stand was ruled out as a red zone (which it isn't) there would be plenty room in the South and West Stands to accommodate every St.Mirren fan who wants to go to this game, leaving the North Stand for the away supporters.
Just because we got shafted by Celtic last weekend doesn't mean we should take the same approach. It's absolutely shite behaviour to be locking out away supporters, not to mention the loss of revenue we'll take from such a selfish approach.
We're now going to have plenty of available seats in the West and South, whilst locking out the away fans from the North.
These are not the actions of a well run competent top flight football club. IMO.

There are surely enough seats in home stands for those displaced from the red zone. In fact, I’d guess that the main stand could host most, if not all of them in sections to the sides.

They’re apparently meeting today to decide about away fans. I can’t see any reasons why St.Johnstone wouldn’t get the full away stand as normal. Albeit they’ll only use a small portion.

    Marcus Fraser is a legend!

My brother and I used to have season tickets, but gave them up when my son was born as I couldn't justify going on a Saturday.

My son is old enough and decided this season he wanted to go, so my brother, my son and I got season tickets again.

We got selected in the ballot to go to the Hearts game where my son said his favourite players were Main and Fraser. Said his most favourite was Fraser.

After the game he said he wanted boots like Fraser wore in the game. I hunted high and low on the internet to find them to see if did kids sizes, to find nothing.

I contacted the club to see if they could help me figure out the model. They said they spoke to him, where he said they were old and no longer can get them online.

Yesterday a package came for my son with the boots in it with his name on them and Marcus' autograph. He was over the moon.

I contacted him directly to thank him. He was so nice to respond and when speaking to the club they said it was all Marcus' idea.

Solid player and a true gent. I just wanted to share a positive since there has been a lot of negative about the club.
