Back on subject - Always disappointing to lose a game but we must not forget we have some real key players out. We are a small club with a matching budget so don't have the luxury for a bigger experienced squad unfortunately that's the reality.

Inverness are where they are in the table for a reason. They are a good side. But, ffs, we should be able to match them, we should be able to make some kind of decent effort at beating them, especially with 10 men.
It is not much fun supporting St Mirren these days.

This is one of the youngest teams we've ever had. They're clearly being effected more by the boo boys than an experienced team would.
Away game boo boys are there certainly, but there's far less of them, and they aren't at all sides of the ground.

On Saturday I am cycling from Arrochar To St Mirren park for the game against Celtic in aid of Multiple Sclerosis.I have 2 cousins who have this condition.1 of whom has been in a wheelchair for 30 years.On the advise of doctors my cousins family have been tested and the youngest of his 2 daughters has been diagnosed and such is the rapid acceleration of her condition has been forced to give up work.As I travel down from Arrochar most weekends for the game I thought it would be a novel idea to raise money for this terrific charity.
I am calling on the generosity of my fellow Saints fans to assist me and any donations would be gratefully received.I will be at Firhill tonight and obviously at the game on Saturday.

99/00 season was the best ive ever seen as a saints supporter (being 29 years old) the football we played, amounts of goals scored and entertaining games involved in will take some beating, for that alone Tom Hendrie is a st mirren legend to me.
as for the follwoing season? 00/01 we were a victim of being a properly run club, teams like killie, motherwell, dundee, dundee utd etc etc were spending millions they didnt have on players.
After that season i think his stubborness took over, and things just didnt work out

I'm not remotely interested in what any player earns. As long as they try their best every time they step onto the pitch wearing a Saints strip that's all that matters to me. Yes, they'll have bad days or off days but that applies to everyone in all walks of life. The good days make up for the bad days and we should savour the good days when we have them.

I've watched it now. The point in the debate that give Darling the win was the bit where they interrogated each other. Although Darling stuck in the main with the one question on currency he did so in a way that appeared measured, he'd let Salmond speak, then come back and challenge again. This was a good strategy from Darling as Salmonds constant attempts to deflect the question very quickly grated on anyone watching. Then when Salmond got his turn his questions were cringe worthy - I mean will his political career survive beyond the referendum now he's tagged with that question about Aliens from space invading us? His credibility around the world was dumped in the toilet at that point. Salmond also needs to learn that it gets very annoying, very quickly when he asks a question and talks all over the response. .

The problem for the Yes campaign though is that they had to convince some of the no voters to change their minds. They didn't.
This was Alex Salmond's big chance as he's supposed to be a great debater and must have thought he'd wipe the floor with Darling.
He didn't though.
When Salmond started down the right hand side driving, aliens line of questioning he made himself look stupid.
And he's never going to win the currency debate.

I thought the debate was irrelevant. After all the referendum isn't about Alex Salmond or Alastair Darling. Isn't that what you natsi's have been quick to claim all along?
