They might struggle getting flung in at the deep end but we don't have alot to lose at the moment and more competition for places can only be a good thing.

Totally agree. Goodwin is similar to McGregor with his positioning, too often charging out when not required. He could maybe play as a sweeper in a 3 but not as part of a back four.

Great lunchtime reading. With Gowser and Harkins both away there was justification to offer Mclean a 'good' contract to stay around for another couple of years. I like the thought of two young and extremely talented players in the form of Mclean and McGinn being at the beating heart of our team.
Despite what people would have you believe on this forum, it's not all doom and gloom. We are building a decent squad. Securing the services of our best players and building a team of talented players.
