As an afterthought maybe the relatively stable financial position we appear to be in is a factor in us being able to sign Brophy and hopefully secure an extension to Doyle-Hayes contract.

Here's my summary of the accounts, think this is pretty accurate;
We made a profit of £130K in the year ended to 31st May 2020 before tax. Previous year we made £100K profit.
Our turnover was £4.068m, which was very slightly down from £4.11m the previous year.
Our wage bill was £4.1m down from £4.5m the previous year.
We brought in transfer fees of £372K which I assume was Paul McGinn fee plus a share of John McGinn windfall Hibs got when Villa were promoted?
We sold Kyle Magennis for £200K. That figure is not included in these accounts as was received after the financial period being reported but is included as a significant event that has happened since.
Club had £1.4m in the bank at end of May. Previous year this was £690K.
 
The accounts period obviously only includes a small portion of the period affected by COVID, March through to end of May.  Still there was zero gate revenue during that period so it's pretty encouraging that we still reported a profit.
Gate receipts were down from £1.5m to £1.37m as a result.
Prize money from the SPFL was £1.58m up from £1.39m the year before, on account of us finishing higher in the league.
Commercial income was also down about £95K presumably due to lack of Hospitality revenue lost through games that didn't happen.
 
 

I wholeheartedly applaud Junior's unrelenting work-rate and feel sure that keeping tabs on him must be a hugely frustrating  and energy-sapping task for opposition defenders.
Junior would soften them up and distract them and even hold the ball (ok sometimes for too long when he could release to a Buddie) - that in itself gives St Mirren defenders time to catch their breathe.
 
For too many seasons, the defence has been under constant onslaught.  Forward balls never stuck up there.  This team is overcoming that basic hurdle, I hope and feel..

If this comes off then it would be a major coup for us IMO. Someone like Brophy is the closest we could get to star name coming to us. Mid 20s and capped by Scotland - we don't have many others like that on our books [emoji846]

BBC Sportscene programme is awful did not even discuss the fact that the Killie keeper went straight through Tait forcing him to be subbed.This was a straight red card and a penalty.This ref was so far out of his depth it beggars belief he has reached Grade 1.Moreover that pitch was unplayable and was a complete danger to the players.Time for SFA/SPFL to conduct investigation. Very surprised we as a club did not make strong objections to this match going ahead.

Good point on what is always an awful surface but today was an utter shit surface and was unplayable with players slipping and sliding.Delighted with our current league position.Oh and why do we get novice refs and not the OF.It is a bloody disgrace.

Problem is the fallout from an OF game can be pretty messy for a young ref. Its a big enough step for a young ref to do a Premiership game never mind one involving the OF. Especially a 10 in a row season. Having said that I have sympathy with your view. It aint going to happen though 😀

It was an awful performance against crap opposition, with an amateur referee, on a pitch more suited to ice hockey. I'll take the draw thanks.

A simple coverage of the pitch with sheeting would have prevented this even being in doubt. Pathetic situation

Have just watch him lose 5 goals playing for the blue mob against the green mob in 2018.
He was the best player in the blue mob team that was taken apart by the green mob. 
We are very lucky to have him as he must be close, if not the best keeper in the league.
 

Keep playing like that and we should do ok this season.
Hopefully our rejects will keep the points gap between us and Ross C the same as before our game.
The Fakes and the Accies drawing is also good for us. 
I am more content with the team at this time of the year for as long as i can remember. 
 

Played quite well , lost a deflected goal and one from a mistake , also had a couple of chances ourselves. On to Killie and hopefully as much effort if not more and 3 points.

Felt we were the better team. Bad miss by Obika and another time we had 3 attacking and McGrath pushes the ball left to Obika. Instead of charging into the box to get a shot away he stops dead and gets caught in possession. Then the fluky deflection followed by Tait being right footed and passing back, again, and a shocking pass back by Shaughnessy. We don't deserve to be two down but are still in it. Early goal is a must.
