TopCat
Having a similar starting 11 to last week isn't the big issue. Having a similar starting 11 to last season is the issue. Spot on. How duds like Gallagher, Langfield and Shankland are still in the starting 11 is beyond me.
Kemp
Eventually. Started off in that ridiculous "quarter back" role. It was under Teale that McLean properly came to form anyway, brief as that time was.

He got the move to Aberdeen because of it. Craig tended to play McGinn further forward. If my memory serves me right, it was Teale who pushed McLean further up the park. Kendo
It stands out a mile that we need to beef up the midfield, lots of defenders an strikers but a lack of options in midfield. Still don't understand why Jim Goodwin was booted out the door when the team is crying out for a player like him. Looking like another long hard season. TopCat
Craig tended to play McGinn further forward. If my memory serves me right, it was Teale who pushed McLean further up the park. Nope. McLean moved in January just after Teale came in. It was Lennon who wasted McLean in deep midfield.
ronaldo
Webster is as much to blame for the 3rd as Langfield, as the last man he should have just cleared his lines, couldn't give a f**k what Rae has to say, he's picking this team, he's brought the players in and we look every bit as bad as we did last season, so bad in fact that Agnew is very close to actually being missed in the side
Gordon Urquhart
Shocking. Rae needs to get a grip and improve his attitude.

aldo_j
Hopefully he abandons the 4-4-2 tactics as they don't work at this level. needs to go 3-5-2 and start dominating the midfield.

Kemp
Raith will be fancying revenge for the 6-0 or a repeat of the 7-0 here. I am astounded at how bad a team Rae has put together here. Such a shame a good era of young players coming through has been met with such poor managers. 1-3 now. Comeback isnae on though.
TopCat
Your all mixed up, it was Gary Teale who did that. Not mixed up at all. TC got the best out of McLean. Turned him into a player who no one wanted in the summer - so he had to come back to us -to one who was in demand in January.

Gordon Urquhart
Tommy Craig was an unmitigated disaster for St Mirren. No redeeming features.

ulysses
The only player Craig got the best out of was...wait...actually, he didn't get the best out of anyone. When Teale came in in December, McLean was pushed up top with the striiker, far further forward than Craig played him. His form immediately improved. His form in December/January is what got him his move.
