Raith v Saints Sat 13th Aug.

WTF did Rae expect when the only change he made to the starting 11 from last week was up front? The defence and midfield were the problem in the first half - to go with the same one was madness.

Start Gordon or MacKenzie next week, change the goalie and bring Quinn if fit. Or go the whole hog and abandon 4-4-2.

Concerns about Rae unfortunately proving to be true.  The way Mallan is being wasted reminds me of Tommy Craig putting McLean in front of the defence and the ensuing mayhem.

A seemingly decent squad are incapable of passing the ball to each other.  Not even one pass never mind two!  The only tactic is to punt the ball away.

Wonder if Tom Hendrie fancies a comeback?

Eh? Craig played McLean further forward and what followed was his best spell for St Mirren. He got the move to Aberdeen because of it.

Having a similar starting 11 to last week isn't the big issue.  Having a similar starting 11 to last season is the issue.
