Attitude & Ability...

When Heaton was dropped and ended up training with the reserves, he took the huff and ended up getting shipped out on loan.

Cooke on the other hand could have done the exact same but he got his head down, worked hard and proved many people (especially on here) wrong.

Looking forward to seeing him develop more next season.

Ability wise

Cooke played quite a few reserve matches and performed quite well. Scored the perfect hattrick against Falkirk U20s.

Heaton on the other hand was simply not good enough at this level. Struggled against a non league side (Spartans) & a League Two side (Queens Park)

Made Pottsy look like Puyol

Mullen's issue is that he refuses to accept, and the manager fails to,impress on him that he is a winger!
he has neither the physique, strength or guile to play up top in a lone or pairing. His game is better suited to providing good supply to a forward/forwards. His woefully poor goal return is indicative of being poor at holding it up.

To give a personal example, I’ve never been involved in any football violence, I’ve never stood on a seat at St Mirren Park. Yet one policeman who is one of our “appointed officers” found it necessary to come up to me in the street in Paisley and tell me that “I know your face, and I’m watching you.”
I’m a bit older and not easily intimidated but if that was one of the younger guys at 14/15/16 it might be a different story. 
The way football fans are treated in this country is a farce
