We should have paid more heed to them. RUFC fans called this spot-on.
Whilst I don't have any great feeling of antipathy towards the man, I genuinely had a spring in my step on Tuesday after the announcement that he had been sacked. Not since Tommy Craig, had I felt so relieved that the club had gotten shot of a toxic influence.
It's almost as if Stubbs couldn't help himself. He seemed to go about the task of dismantling the positivity, cohesion, and sense of purpose at the club without even demonstrating any alternative vision that might justify what he was doing to some degree. Baffling.
At no stage did I ever believe that he had a clear strategy, and it was increasingly apparent that he didn't.
Anyway, he is now a (very) brief interlude in the club’s history, and with the new man set to join us shortly, it is time to look forward.

how many attempts at goal from a corner have we had this season ? A decent manager of a full time team should have several set piece delivery choices at a corner , and the corner taker should be signalling what type of corner its going to be , not seen any " moves from the training ground " since Stubbs arrived .
That said , it could be the case that the team has practiced several different types of corners , but have decided not to implement the during a match because the players don't like the manager.
 

It’s amazing how you can get a vibe from a manager even before they have taken charge of a game. Right from the first interview I watched from Stubbs I had a feeling things weren’t going to work out...he was very dismissive of the part the fans can play at St. Mirren, which was polar opposite from Jack Ross who mentioned the bond between the players and fans in literally every interview I seen. 
Kearney seems very much in the mould of Jack Ross going by the testimonials of his ex-players and chairman. The only thing I’m surprised about is that the board didn’t offer it to him in the summer. It’s easy looking back in hindsight though and obviously the board believed they were making the correct decision in appointing Stubbs. 

MacPherson is a busted flush.  Why has no other club in the Premier wanted his fire fighting ‘talents’ in the last 8 years?

Biggest issue for me is can McIntyre hit a golf ball or not. Got a big day at Mar Hall on Thursday with the Fan Council Golf Day, or as it has been renamed, the Fan Council Always Co-Incides with a Crisis Club Tipping Point Golf Day.

Yeah but presumably, at the interview stage, Stubbs dazzled the BoD with fantastic tales of all the Everton U23s that were heading our way.

Whoever from the club leaked this information (directly or indirectly) to Stewart Gilmour this morning will be regretting the error of their judgement.
Hopefully this is sorted out by GLS & Co so that there is not a repetition of this breach of confidence in the future.

The embarrassment of being the only team to lose a league game to Sevco this season probably pushed GLS over the edge,

The worst transfer window in our history.  

It’s almost like GLS, Fitzy and Stubbsy sat down and took notes on the best way to fcuk up a Championship winning team and how best to destroy the rapport built up between players and supporters. I know they didn’t do this, but by Christ, it looks like it.

To be fair, the BoD would be equally culpable if they let it happen. It would be evidence - if any more is required - that Livingston have more ambition to stay in this division than St Mirren. That, in itself, would be a f**king disgrace.
Livingston have a fan base of around 220 plus a couple of stray drugs and a few empty crisp pokes. If we all but gave away arguably our best player to them, it would be game over.

Flarey's rumours used to be funny until Stubbs actually brought to them to life and signed 8th rate chancers like Cooke and King.

Not so. Let’s say , for example , we had appointed Goodwin and he had stuck with the basis of last season, minus Morgan and Davis , and added a couple of others. We’d be sitting here just now saying , let’s hope he brings a couple more in before Friday. We would all know the capabilities of the squad , who would all be working like the same unit as last season. But no , we’re a bitty , disjointed shambles , the result of a clueless manager who thought he was being clever , but in essence , is taking the club back to where we were after Craig .

I thought he’d end up as player manager at Falkirk.
