It's a ludicrous statement from a man who is trumping Danny, Tommy, Gus and Gary for messing around with players. Howieson is an attacking central midfielder, but Murray plays him wide. McMullan was hoping to form a partnership with Thommo, Murray sticks him wide to chase the punts out of defence. Carswell is a defensive midfielder, Murray has him trying to create. Not to mention he resigning of Gow...f**k sake you wouldn't sign him on Football Manager if you were Gateshead. The perceived treatment of Ridgers, the signing of Conlan, taking Gallagher off for Morgan, one up at home in the Championship, launch it football...

Good luck to him. He always gave his best, but sometimes it just wasn't good enough and he became a scapegoat towards the end.

I work more than 35 hours a week and my career could be over with a spark from a grinder or a carelessly placed cable but it doesn't reflect in the remuneration I receive. And if I'm cr@p at my job I won't be paid any remainder of an inflated salary.

First three points of the season.

The day our club decided to "take a different direction" since then we have won 3 league games at home, been relegated, currently the lowest placed 'full time' club in scotland, and have a manager who thinks its a good idea to take off our quickest attacker, for a midfielder when we are chasing a game! I can't believe I just heard McKinnon utter the words, and I quote "credit to st mirren, they came at us!!!" no Ray, the credit goes to the owners of our club who have systematically dismantled our team since our league cup win, and stadium aside, allowed us to go back to the same shambolic state we were in-in the 90's!

Hopefully the damage is so bad they will need to pull the whole place down .

Gone back and looked at our home League record since season 2005/2006 and our home loss % is a pretty impressive 43.1%
That is f*cken horrendous - only once in the last ten seasons have we won more home league games than we have lost - 2013/14 season where we W7 D7 L5 so we go and sack Danny Lennon

Watched Agnew a number of times now and he's nowhere near good enough. Game passes him by and doesn't stamp his authority on the game. Only valuable at set pieces but his work in midfield isn't good enough. Think Murray thought he could step up but not so far. Squad player at the moment. We need to get him out the first team and onto the bench
Mallan is now starting to find some form again and is way better player than Agnew

Cameron Howieson was being interviewed by BBC Alba up at the Saints exhibition at the Museum this afternoon.
His great-great grandfather was James Howieson, a member of Saints' 1926 cup winning team, and he was being interviewed about this for a piece that'll be shown before the Raith Rovers game next Friday.

At least Danny was hit as well as miss: Samson, Travner, Tesselaar, Dummett, Goodwin, McGowan, Teale, McGregor, Newton, Hasselbaink, Goncalves and Thompson were all good signings within our budget, DVZ, Carey and Cheesy were fine as well and he also introduced McLean, McGinn, Naismith, Kelly, Reilly into the first team and by the end of his 4 year term half the first team were products of the youth set up who had made the step up. There were also a few signings like Imrie, Harkins and Grainger which looked as though they should be good signings but they never worked out in the end. I realise we signed plenty of duds in Danny's time, but even there to give him his due, he usually dropped them pretty quickly rather than persist with them for half a season.
Personally I am not detecting Tommy Craig, Gary Teale or Iain Murray to have as many hits as Danny 'hit and miss' Lennon.
