This may not be a popular opinion but I have my doubts about Morgan. Does anyone else think we may have a one-trick pony, solely left-sided who is incapable of cutting inside a full back and lacking pace on the outside ? He doesn't lack for effort but I can't see an end-result from his contribution.

I am not a happy clapper but I recognise a brighter outlook under our new manager.
Lady Luck gave our team the two fingers today. When did we last get an even break ? When you're up to your neck in sh*te you can expect a squadron of diarrhoea-infected flying cows to pass overhead.
I witnessed a vastly improved display today and was encouraged by promising performances from the two youngsters that Jack Ross handed a starting opportunity. The team created umpteen clear cut chances but failed to hit the net. Bad luck more than bad finishing in many cases.
Poor old Jamie Langfield made an amazing point blank save and 10 minutes later undid all his own good work. Time for him to go I think, hopefully a new goalkeeper coming our way in January.
I have faith in JR to turn things around. This season's target is survival. If we can achieve that I look for a more successful 2017/18.

The thing is, if Langfield doesn't make the worldly save five minutes before the goal and it goes in, and then doesn't make the error... we still lose and nobody blames him.

Funny old game. He is hopeless and needs to go right enough, have said that for more than a year now.

You may have been watching them for 40 years, but clearly not supporting them for 40 years.
The old board are responsible for ensuring the existence of the club you claim to have been "supporting". Through thick and thin it has been a tough few years following St Mirren but without the old board this club would not even exist right now. Yes, that board ran out of steam and things have gone tits-up in recent years but without their commitment during the Reg Brearley takeover and for many years thereafter Paisley folk wouldn't have a local club at all.
But thanks for your support for 40 years.

    Stealers Wheel.
    Gerry Rafferty and Joe Egan.
"Stuck In The Middle With You" on that LP must have made Gerry a fortune which is a bit bizarre because that isn't close to being the best track on the album. "Late Again" is the stand out track, and there are probably four or five other tracks on that album better than SITMWY.

JR probably wasn't my first choice for the vacancy but based on my basic criteria for Alex Rae's successor (i.e. anyone but Gus) I will settle for this appointment.
A big positive for me is that JR chose to bring Jim Goodwin to Alloa, obviously recognising the importance of experience, leadership and toughness in that area of the park. Let's hope he has someone within our squad in mind to slot into a similar role.
