If he keeps up that recovery time he'll be fine.From 3/4 weeks to 10 days in just over half an hour.

Cheesy is always the one that gets picked on.
The lad is un-recognisable from the jittery player we got back from Queen of the South.
He very rarely makes a mistake but when he does he gets absolute dogs abuse for it.
Darren McGregor made plenty of mistakes at the back yet was hardly ever criticised.
Can't understand why he still cops so much abuse from sections of the support. Very decent, very capable player IMO.

Great lunchtime reading. With Gowser and Harkins both away there was justification to offer Mclean a 'good' contract to stay around for another couple of years. I like the thought of two young and extremely talented players in the form of Mclean and McGinn being at the beating heart of our team.
Despite what people would have you believe on this forum, it's not all doom and gloom. We are building a decent squad. Securing the services of our best players and building a team of talented players.

I'd take wee Nigel back in a heart beat. Wildly inconsistent I admit, but he's exciting, as soon as he's on the ball, anything (or nothing) could happen. Having a player like him makes paying £20 a week just a little bit more acceptable...

Nigel I would take back. Definitely offers something different, and every season he chips in with at least half a dozen goals despite a decent chunk of his appearances being from the bench. Still only 23 as well.

I don't think Carey would offer us more than Wylde does, could do with a wee bit of cover on the left side though.

For a number 10 playing off the striker McGowans attempts on goal ratio is piss poor, we would get more goals and efforts on goal playing harkins in there, McGowan playing off Thompson slows the play down far too much + McGowan can't shoot.
I would only keep McGowan if it was on vastly reduced wages.

Would like to see Harkins stay. Probably won't have as many midfielders next year.

Why would we do that - he's a contracted SMFC player he either comes back for the new season or Oldham (or anyone else for that matter) pays a transfer fee for him. We MUST stop this cycle of releasing / paying off contracted players.
