Anyone that thinks Kearney is going anywhere is f**king delusional. He will be St Mirren manager next season even if we are in the Championship.
Stubbs squad was a complete disaster, that's the bottom line. If he keeps us up he will have done a tremendous job.
I don't get the outrage with him having an assistant manager and a coach either. All perfectly normal.

Are you meaning for the sitter watt missed. Poor defending firstly not stopping the cross and second jones poor defending too busy watching the ball and not marking his man causing him to slide when it was cut back.
 
Was also very poor defending from mcginn on several occasions wasn’t anticipating the ball coming to him should have cleared it instead it goes through his legs leaving st Johnstone player with a tap in.
 
As I’ve said several times it’s the quality of squad that is our problem I don’t see anything wrong with the line up or formation OK has went with.

Ah, where to start. 
First of all, it's Miller, not Millar.
Ian Murray was appointed at the end of the previous season. He had a full pre-season and transfer window to sign a bunch of footballers not good enough to play for us. Much like Stubbs did, in fact. 
OK has come into a squad with no strength in depth as a result of Stubbs making an arse of it, with zero confidence. He has already signed three players of much higher quality and identified those not good enough, as well as starting to integrate younger players into the team. Results have been poor, but they also were at the start of Jack Ross's tenure. If you want to compare OK's start with that of any other manager, it is much closer to JR than IM. 
 

Thinking Jimmy Nicholl will be a part time appointment and that he will still be working with the Northern Ireland international team , good appointment I think , liked by everyone , lots of contacts

I shouldn't bite BUT Baird has played in the Scottish Premiership previously and has been in the team every time this season I believe - so not injury prone either. He has also been one of the most capable, consistent and hard working players in many of the games. He is human and has made a few mistakes or things that have not worked out at times, but I would hate to imagine what the scores would have been with KP or the very injury prone Heaton at the heart of our defence. KP is as slow as a sloth....Heaton has managed to get on the bench twice I think..
Cooke and King are not good enough for the Scottish 2nd division...
The underlying issue is the squad overall is not good enough and the number of players who are injured has left us thin on the ground. I think the subs on Saturday apart from the Goalie were all really midfielders. (I know some say Smith is a forward, but he works in midfield and pushes on to support the strikers more than an all out striker.) No manager would want that kind of balance - so why would he have it - these were the fittest.best guys he had available.
Stubbs and injuries left OK a bad hand - given time more of the Jackson, Ferdinand and Hammill quality and more fit players will definitely help... Give this manager your support - what a difficult task he has taken on....

Not saying that some tactics can't be adopted to alter what happens out on the park but if the basic confidence isn't there and the players are struggling to compete at Premiership level, there isn't a lot that the Manager can do.

The main problem is midfield and the main energy of it was down to Magennis
No real surprise he has been out we have never looked like winning the engine room

Willock Jackson Baird and hammill even though his injury was still causing him trouble today were our best performers today.

Stubbs squad is mostly in the stand or already punted at how bad they were and proved so that they can’t even compete with st Johnstone reserves it’s no wonder why we were well and truly beaten by half time in most games under Stubbs.

The 3 players Oran have signed have been great considering the circumstances outside the transfer window and a huge difference in quality from the ones Stubbs added.

Let’s just forget the great appointment the board made with jack giving us some great times and call for them to resign after 1 bad appointment.

To be fair comparing what Stubbs started with and what  OK started with is like comparing lemons with grapes.  Its not been great  I will agree. Just hoping OK gets some fine wine from his grapes because Stubbs lemons left a sour taste in everyone's mouth.

It's not acceptable no but one drunken mistake six years ago shouldn't define a person. Sounds like he's learned his lesson from that and has went on to really screw the nut. I'm sure he regrets it big time . Reading the stories on it, it sounds like the altercation happened when they were trying to get him in a wheelchair and was a flurry. Doesn't sound like he physically tried to hit or punch the woman, doesn't even sound like he was aware enough to know they were woman trying to help him. I'm not saying it's okay but like I say, he deserves (and has) to move his life on.

I agree with this. Surely after today OK will be more tempted to take the punt on Cotterill?
He said during the week that it would take Cotterill a few weeks to get up to speed and he wasn't sure if it was worth it financially to take someone on who couldn't go straight in. 
I think today should confirm that we need to just sign him and if it takes him a few weeks to get up to speed then so be it.

The new guy has been in the job for only a few days so let's cut him some slack. Back in 2015/16 JR didn't repair our inadequacies within his first few weeks in the manager's office  !!!
OK has been handed a Stubbs-created pig's ear with the remit to convert it into a silk purse. Tommy Cooper couldn't magic us up a winning team in such a short time. Oran's challenge is to rebuild a team (undo the damage done by Stubbs) in time to salvage our season and fend off relegation. Slowly and surely, rebuilding confidence, healing the dressing room schism (if it ever existed), establishing our strengths and eliminating our defensive frailties, recognising what is missing and identifying talent that can be brought in (in January if necessary), and establish a winning mentality.
A tough ask. Not an overnight proposition.
