WeeBud reacted to rea in Jack Ross OBE
But hold on a second....you are a board member of the second largest Shareholder and have your boards representative on the Clubs board. It is the Club board that sack and appoint so i dont see how you are working under any form of collective responsibilty which is how boards are supposed to work.
Can you explain the process of consultation you as a director were involved in? -

WeeBud reacted to Drew in St Mirren v Queen of the South Championship 7/1/17
Indeed.
Ross wasn't my pick for new manager (I wanted Hughes in but he knocked it back). That said, like most, I have backed JR in what has been an invidious mission to turn a wretched season round with what has amounted to a largely hopeless squad of players - albeit, he has clearly made plenty of mistakes.
Others, it seems, are relishing the fact that it hasn't worked out as we'd hoped. A smug satisfaction is apparent that suggests that their own conceit rates higher than their concern for the club. That says a lot more about them than it does about Jack Ross, JJ, or anyone else, I'm afraid. Its pathetic, really.

I know, it's a well used tactic from you.
Carry on, no one else has noticed.

So much negativity on this forum of late. Very depressing. Can all the negative people please stay at home tomorrow. Even players, if you are feeling negative, stay at home and watch Jeff Stelling. We don't need any negativity tomorrow.
We all know we are in a very difficult situation, we all know that last week was a kick in the stones, but dwelling on that won't help. We need total commitment from everyone, we need to re-create the atmosphere at the escapes at Fir Park and Falkirk not just once or twice but many times this season. We need to save our club from the abyss of league one.
We have better players than the teams above us. We need to believe we can do this, its our only option. And if we succeed, it may just eclipse all the great escapes of the past.

WeeBud reacted to Lord Pityme in 1877 Club
And obviously each individual orginisation would have to ballot its members to see if they wished to amalgamate, or not?

WeeBud reacted to Lord Pityme in 1877 Club
One fan body, lets for arguements sake call it 'The Body' is the parent organisation, and has committees to run 1877 club etc.
you wouldnt need to be a member of each, but you would have to be a member of 'The Body' if you wanted to take full part in its democratic process. Much like a ST holder can attend meetings held by the club, and FC but has to be a shareholder to vote at the AGM, or member of FC to vote on its issues.

On Sunday night i watched a crackin wee film called "What we did on our Holidays"
Brilliantly written by the writers of Outnumbered, shot almost entirely on location in Scotland & a cast that included Billy Connolly & David Tennant.
Difficult to decide if the stars of the film were the Kids in the film or the magnificent Scottish scenery. Either way , a great watch .

Dearie me. You really do miss the point.
It isn't a marketing opportunity, FFS. It was introduced in Finland when they had horrendously high infant mortality rates. The idea was to give all babies, regardless of background, an equal start in life. Symbolic? Yes, to a degree, but, as oaksoft suggests, who could argue with the sentiment?
Seriously Stuart, why don't you just buy a blonde wig, change your name to Hopkins, and be done with it? This fixation with finding fault and courting controversy just for the sake of it is tedious beyond belief.

Took this photo a few days ago from Balmaha looking out to Loch Lomond. Took the photo then just stood for a good ten minutes pretty much with this thread title in my head.

WeeBud reacted to div in Craig Storie
As expected, 20 year old Aberdeen midfielder Craig Storie has signed for Saints on loan to the end of the season.
Won't feature against QoS this week, he joins the squad start of next week. Not entirely sure why but assume he might be away on hols with the Premiership clubs on winter break. Just guessing though.
Will be formally announced later today.

Your childish misspelling of the managers name just serves to highlight your true agenda and undermine your own petty and personally motivated arguement. -

Other possibilities
He could be shit for raith
We could get a striker that bags a goal a game to replace him
Why focus on projected negatives?

I guess if he's got your son's mobile number then either you, or your son, know who he is............if he has truly threatened your son, report him and rightly let the appropriate authorities deal with any lowlife who would behave in such a manner

There is a absolutely nothing constructive or progressive in the feedback you provide, though. You are constantly on what feels like a witch hunt involving specifically named individuals within the club who you seem to have a fetish for getting into trouble or sacked for what is (in your own opinion) underperforming. Now I'm in no position to suggest that the said individuals are performing perfectly within their role but like everything else, this club is a work in progress.
Everything you say or even intimate towards SMFC on here is dripping in bitterness, resentment and suspicion and that clouds your judgement seriously on providing any sort of reasonable and measured input. That, I would imagine, is why SMFC have again, spurned your offer to 'help' them. As they are aware that when things don't go your way on an issue, you'll throw a massive tantrum and walk away. You did it when SGG knocked back your business proposal and held a decade long grudge, you did it when we sacked Tom Hendrie and you did it almost instantly with the SMISA membership.
Frankly, no one wants your help as, whilst you may have decent ideas, you're a loose cannon, difficult to deal with and ultimately not worth the effort it would take to fawn around and pander to you to keep your precious ego swollen and short temper placated.

Yes you are quite correct in that neither Tony or Alan are elected directors and John being secretary has not been elected,so i have been a bit amiss in stating that the 11 are the full board, there are 8 elected one secretary and the other 2 assist at meetings. I never said they were all elected directors. Would have been better on reflection to state there are 11 people who attend the board meetings and are actively involved in running the trust.
I can sometimes make errors,i am human after all. I will leave this conversation for now and go sit in a corner and think about the harm and destruction i have caused.
