Anyone who was at the Edinburgh game midweek should not be surprised at today's result. Maybe the BBC showed loads of goal attempts but most were pretty tame passbacks.
The formation was strange. We had 4 at the back, 4 in midfield , Mullen up front and Oan playing wherever he felt like. Absolutely no width and everything through the middle to players playing a game of statues. Oan was the only person running off the ball and he kind of vanished in the second half although I believe he was still on the park. Build ups were chronically slow with many side passes allowing EK to pull everyone behind the ball.
Biggest concern for me is the players. They are individually better than the shite Stubbs signed but they are playing very poorly. Magennis is a shadow of the player he should be and most of the experienced players are way off the mark. Andreu was transferred for £1M once but showed nothing to justify that price tag. And some players are simply nowhere near good enough for the Premiership.
Glad I am not Goody who has to sort out this mess.

I'm not one to criticise refs after games. They are only human, and it is incredibly difficult to get every call right when things are happening so fast (and nowadays you have players cheating thrown in to the mix as well).
However, over the two games there have been a series of utterly baffling head-scratching "are you f**king serious?" decisions that could have seen us relegated. Not least yesterday we had a perfectly good goal chopped off, a penalty awarded against us, a red card against us, and two red card calls for United not given - every single one of them clearly the wrong decision!
If these are the best refs the SFA can provide then its clear there is a massive problem in Scotland.
Surely we need to look at bringing in VAR and bring in expertise from overseas to run both the VAR system and the SFA's dysfunctional appeals and compliance system.
These things are always said to be "too expensive for Scottish football" but its a multi-million pound industry in this country, and every club already has multiple cameras at every game. VAR installed on a smaller budget might bring some problems but it can't be worse than the nonsense we have been subjected to this season from the 4 penalties at Ibrox to Beaton's attempt to relegate us yesterday!
I'd expect the club to be making some noise over this in the coming days, and to appeal Nazon's red card whether he is going to be staying here or not.

Yeah , I wish the club would come right out and say how much we are getting . Would give other teams and agents a clearer idea of how much we can be fleeced for when looking at players for next season .

We've been playing like a 7th placed team for 2 months now and next season we won't be giving all the other teams a 6 month start.
We rode our luck this year.
Next year we won't have to because we don't have Stubbs and a cast of useless f**kers from the 7th and 8th levels of English football.

Absolute nonsense. 
I could easily rhyme off about a dozen worse players in just in our own squad this season alone. 
Not even getting started on teams like Dundee. 

FFS. Try listening to the Sportsound podcast. David Currie was asking both Kenny Miller and Stephen McGinn about the high turnover in January. Both players talked about it taking time for players to get used to their team mates and the way of playing. More so in St Mirren's case due to the number of foreign players and language problems. He also said the guys had now fitted in well; communication had improved and that we now had a formation everyone was comfortable with and was getting results. Kenny Millar was saying Dundee were not in that position.
But never miss a chance to have a go at everything St Mirren. Spin like Donald Trump.

Fairly obvious our captain is criticising guys like Baird, Flynn and the other McGinn for not being fluent in Czech and Romanian.

Well done to Oran Kearney on yet another victory over a Livingston team who had us dead and buried before half time at home in a game where we didn't register a shot on target when we were managed by you know who.
Well done to Oran and the team. Not many complaints about Wullie Collum today from our fans who usually deride him!

Great performances all all over the park today today and good change of formation and personnel in the second half. Special mention to Jackson when he came on and really gave them problems with his running. And Magennis is on 10 secs and blasts a shot at goal something Lyons didn't do in the previous 75 mins. But why, oh why Oran are you still playing Ethan? Musek is a far superior player on the left. Ethan cost us their goal due to his usual not picking up his man. Paul McGinn deservedly MoM. Only 4 more to go now and we are on a roll.

Dreyer having another quietly effective game - assist for 1st goal, great pass to set Jackson up on 49 minutes, nice corner headered over by Lyons from 8 yards out, pass for Jackson blocked in penalty box and falls to Mullen who spins and shoots and scores.

If I was Gordon Scott I’d already be looking out my spare change and slamming a bid on Bucharest’s table for big Vlad the Impaler!

A wee bit away me and my mate have booked into the Watermill for £30 each which is great value. We had such a blast in Paisley at the Celtic game he wants to comeback and support St Mirren. Let's see what the forth coming games bring this might be a formality  For sure it will be a blast again as I'm off on the Tuesday.
