class of 76-77 Posted October 25, 2012 Report Posted October 25, 2012 Eric Sinclair signed in a swap deal for Lex Richardson from Dundee, he was a monumental fail. Quote
scottd Posted October 25, 2012 Report Posted October 25, 2012 The Dundee guy we got for the great Lex Richardson.....Mackie!.....total mince and thanks Miller! Eric Sinclair was that player and it was Ricky McFarlane who sanctioned the deal that took Richardson to Dundee. Miller came in and promptly got rid of Sinclair. Quote

nedflanders123 Posted October 26, 2012 Report Posted October 26, 2012 Aye, Jim Gilmour the " goalie" for one. Add another "goalie" - Herriot. Jim Gilmour - now some horrific memories particularly one - think it was against the **** - where he ushered the ball as if it was going by the post only to see it snuggle nicely in the back of the net. The worse goalie I have seen playing for us and that is something when you consider Scrimgour and Smith. Quote
nedflanders123 Posted October 26, 2012 Report Posted October 26, 2012 Donald Hunter was our worst keeper. You clearly never saw Jim Gilmour and no way was he worse than Scrimmy or Smith. Quote
Secretsaint Posted October 26, 2012 Author Report Posted October 26, 2012 You clearly never saw Jim Gilmour and no way was he worse than Scrimmy or Smith. What about Jim Stewart? Quote

RossTheBoss Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 Worst player I've seen in my short time supporting Saints (relative to you guys) is probably Ryan McCay. No idea how he got as far as he did, and to my knowledge has never kicked a ball since leaving. Quote
