Looks like the new contract came with an agreement / release clause that, if a club matched the compensation and he fancied it, then he could go.Hopefully with a sell on clause, but who knows. On a brighter note have not seen so much talent come through from the youth level since ferges days bloody apple ! The only significant sale since 2000 that I can find is Simon Lappin...Barry McLaughlin and Junior Mendes sold for small values...Relatively rare occasion for us to make money with a sale...
