rabuddies
Bye bye , to my old grans favourite ! Aye, my old dad was a big fan - Val, Jim Reeves, James Last and Old Blue Eyes (his Capitol albums) were always played on a Saturday morning when dad was in charge of me and my little sis. It must have sunk in 'cos I still like Sinatra's work with Nelson Riddle despite the fact I'm just an old hippie when it comes to music? shull
The Frank Skerret Show on Radio Clyde was one of my favourites. Loved his choice of tunes and his patter was good.

E=Mc2
My Irish dad was a big fan. And although both my parents passed away 11 years ago I had to get duplicates of their death certificates today. And when I went back to the car from visiting the registrar and put on the radio, there was the news about Val Doonican. That made me smile.
