hughsie
Any chance of an Alan Provanesque Club Shop Caravan at Motherwell on Saturday? Coming up for the game from the South and quite fancy the scarf and flag but baulking at the £6 postage charge....

Ronnie
Surely some kind fellow Saints fan could pop down the club shop for you and get the flag & scarf and meet you on Saturday. I would do it no problem but unfortunately going on Holiday on Wednesday and missing the cup final.

Yes but aren't they're likely to be rip offs with the clubshop making nothing from it.

Dont doubt that, but, how much does the shop / club make from a £10 sale?

Isle Of Bute Saint
There was a guy outside Parkhead selling St Mirren stuff.
Frank McGarvey' wonky legs
Since AWP still does the Motherwell merchandise we should have got him on board and everyone collects it on Saturday in Motherwell at the ground before the game. hughsie
Having a gazebo and a table full of Cup Final t-shirts, flags, badges and scarves inside the Saints sections of the ground would be better than nothing. There will be Saints fans who don't normally get to games on Saturday so lots of scope for selling merchandise before the game. Overseas clubs are far more savvy with this type of thing. No excuses, the new regime have had plenty of time to get on top of this, and other recent ticket issues. New board, old problems?
Gordon Urquhart
New board but same old commercial operation since year dot.
Ayrshire Saints
it would be ideal to just take over the Motherwell club shop at the stadium for the day and rebrand it as a St Mirren shop with our badge and club colours but that's pie in the sky stuff, no club or it's supporters would tollerate that, would they ???? Doakes
Heard somewhere that we don't make any/much money from the club shop anyway? It's allegedly owned by the company that runs security for the stadium

If only we had a commercial manager .

Possible . yes. However , if i had put my business in the hands of someone who couldn`t see the opportunities here, or had decided not to try and take advantage of the situation , id seriously be doubting the wisdom of my decision to enter into an agreement with said company in the first place. I agree but that thought might be for a different day as contracts generally have a "term" length.
