Big john might not have the best first touch or best finishing but he makes a big difference to us up top.

Jakubiak looks decent too.

Really unlucky to go in at ht losing imo with wind behind us now in the 2nd half hopefully we bag a goal or two.

As completely and utterly shite as he was against Hibs, he’s been much much better today. Made a nuisance of himself and held the ball up much better. Still very frustrating from a finishing POV though.

Two up front looks better.

Hopefully Jim gets them fired up for the second half , wind often makes it a game of 2 halves

Only 1 down, should throw on another striker

Played decently. Hit the post. They score from a rebound. Wind now joined by the rain. Wind behind us so who knows. My prediction was 1-1 and replay.

Trains through Gilmour Street are replaced by buses this weekend lucky people sharing buses with their young team.

Saw a large young team like you describe. Bunch of wee fuds. Fortunately I was visiting before match and was traveling to Paisley Canal

We've got this one for the taking.

Halftime talk

1. F-in defend - not free players in our box.

2. F-in hit the target, we can win this.

3. If you don't do it - there are 3 subs who will...

4. Wind at our backs, its into the wind for them - let's get into the 1/4 finals :magic

Really? You're optimistic. They haven't done it in previous games.

Fair comment - but if JG has no threats then they players have no fear of being subbed !

The past does not determine the future - at least not always !

And Obika despite having a better game misses ball from 3 yards.

And here's how the Beeb describe that...4

CLOSE!

St Mirren 0-1 Motherwell

St Mirren will be wondering how they're not level. The ball is rolled across the box, and Jon Obika is inches away from getting a toe on it. The ball is kept in play and then ricochets just wide of the post.

Turn and shot from about 12 yards on right hand side of the box. Think it took a deflection on its way in.

Either way, glorious.

Feed the Jak and the Jak will score!
