Because "they have a good working relationship" the Chairman said tonight !

To be fair to JN he probably wouldn’t have said that twelve months ago so from his perspective things have improved.

ALAN WARDROP STADIUM BAN

For those of you who were unable to attend last nights Smisa AGM the 1877 Club would like to reference the answer St.Mirren Chairman John Needham gave to why 1877 Club Host and Membership Manager Alan Wardrop has been banned from the stadium and prevented from supporting St.Mirren, the team he has supported for the last 50 years. It was because the board were concerned Mr Wardrop might have used his role as host of the 1877 club to use the mic as a platform for his agenda against Kibble influence in St.Mirren Football Club.

Asked if the board had engaged with Mr Wardrop prior to the Hearts game and raised their concerns, the answer was no.

Mr Wardrop did not attend the game as he was banned for POTENTIALLY speaking up against the Kibble staff on the Board of St.Mirren FC.

He did'nt attend the game adhering to the ban and not creating a scene for his friends who provide security to the main reception.

For the intelligent members on this forum which will exclude Billy Gray,Bazil85,FarawaySaint and JJMCG this is the world of George Orwell's 1984 where the thought police intervene and arrest you and punish you for "thought crime, personal and and political thoughts unapproved by KIBBLE's regime." Sorry we meant Ingsoc's regime .... but if the shoe fits ?

Alan remains banned indefinitely.

What if it was you ?

Animal, well done on creating this thread and your post, but it's just the tip of the iceberg.

I don’t plan on being so disruptive, dramatic & damaging to St Mirren anytime soon, so I’m not concerned. 👍

I wouldn’t be letting him anywhere near the club after what he’s done. Mountain out of a mole hill & dragged the clubs name through the mud during one of the most important spells in our recent history.

We even had the cringeworthy moment towards the end when AW said , pointing at the Kibble guys , he's a Celtic fan , and he was an Airdrie fan and now supports Rangers , while I've always been a St Mirren fan. It was the last attempted hurrah of a defeated man who thinks he's more important than he actually is. The bottom line is , the Kibble guys aren't going away any time soon , "they have no intention of selling their shares"! Last night was a wasted exercise when the questions from the attendees started, although Alex Dillon did very well in controlling it , and John Needham gave detailed responses to everything that was asked of him. Hopefully we can put this to bed now and concentrate on club matters like keeping the manager , and sorting out the Academy !

Agreed Billy.

On the academy, it’s a shame they didn’t discuss one of the biggest risks to our young talent, the conference league.

A yes vote is a meal ticket to let teams with Colts, poach our best young players with the added offer of ‘competitive’ football in a league with far more funding per team than the Lowland has currently.

This is (yet another) needless thread, attacking the club during one of its most successful spells in 40 years.

Maybe if supporters of a certain dead club had piped up about the state of their affairs during what was their best ever period they would still have their old club.

Success on the park doesn't necessarily mean good governance off it.

There is no comparison here whatsoever. There is zero evidence that St Mirren are in any way, shape or form on the pathway, old Rangers were.

It's people getting their knickers in the twist about an application for funding to build a well-being centre.

Are you just ignoring the fact we are nearly £2 million in debt.
Agreed £1.2 million is interest free but still equates to 1 first team player each season and we have a BOD that budgets for us finishing 7th.

We are not £2M in debt. Last accounts showed that we had around £900K in the bank.
I’ll dig out the accounts and post the status as of 31st May 2022.

Alan is a fanny.

Alan speaks about himself in 3rd person and instead of putting his own name on it, hides behind the 1877 Club handle on here and on twitter.

Don't a fanny. Don't be Alan.
