Good info from the pub.

17 weeks since i last had a draft pint, so waiting an other week till the indoor area of bars open will likely do me.

Surprise giving the size of the outdoor area as well as the carpark.

Walked past it half an hour ago and it was still looked as if hee haw had been done.

Announcement on their facebook page on the 26th June, which effectively says, "watch this space".

Certainly seem to be a lack of beer garden pubs in the area.

That's because it generally pisses doon six and three quarters days of the week in Renfrewshire.

We can’t wait to welcome you back on Monday.

But we all need to play the game.

We’ve put some house rules in place so that as many of you as possible can get a little dose of Telfords alfresco, whilst keeping our customers and staff as safe as we can.

We are taking bookings for our beer garden, min 2 people and maximum 6 people, with 2 hour time slots per booking.

We will be keeping a few tables free each day for walk-ins too

Call us on 0141 848 1362 or email us at [email protected] (please don’t DM just call or email so we can manage it fairly..)

>Open 12-10 daily
>Food served 12-3/5-8pm
>2m social distancing
>Please wait to be seated
>Table service only
>Card payments only

See you Monday? @ Telfords Paisley

The Abbey Inn will have room for over 100 people in its beer gardens. They are running it by appointment only, you pre book a table for a 2 hour slot.I don’t know if you can book multiple slots to give you a night out.🍺

The Abbey got told to get the tables out the car park as the licence doesn’t cover it. 😂

Had seen the letter sent out to some licensed premises from the licensing board. By all accounts they'd have warned them beforehand. They were lucky they weren't ordered to close.

Seems like the councils have been asked to relax planning controls, so that pubs can maximise the use of public spaces.

My understanding was that you still needed to apply for it. I don't know if said establishment has/did.

Sounds sensible

Seen some pubs, and eating establishments, have closed already down south after cases of the virus confirmed in their premises.

Good to see they, despite financial worries, are doing the right thing.

I bet there are other's who are just ignoring similar findings. 🙈

They must have got a licence as car park tables in use again.Looks like there’s barely a table free.

Burgh Bar getting the whole of the inside of it ripped out so doubt it will be open on Wed.

Harvies wooden boards that were covering the windows are down so expect them to be opened on Wed.

The Tennents at Telfords last week was rank.
Settled for a Heverlee which became more palatable with each pint.

Bit disappointing really, company was good though.
