Unless there is a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ as part of the deal.....emoji848.png

I doubt that the present BoD would entertain that particular agreement. Although, there may be a set fee that could trigger his release.

I had heard that there was very strong interest in Kyle from a couple of clubs , must have been rubbish:D

It just means Kyle is thinking of St Mirren as well as himself.  A very good buddie.

Morgan thought about himself only.

St Mirren are delighted to confirm that Lewis Morgan has signed a contract extension today until May 2018.

The winger, who is fast becoming a fans’ favourite thanks to his quick pace and direct running at opposition defences, made his first team debut in a Scottish Premiership match against Celtic on 27th September 2014 and has gone on to make 34 appearances to date, scoring 2 goals in the process.

A regular with the under-20 side the last few seasons, the 19-year-old has grabbed his opportunity with some eye-catching displays so far this season for the first team which included a man of the match performance in the recent Betfred Cup tie against Ayr United.

Looks like Lewis was only thinking of himself when he signed this contract extension.:byebye

We would have been £300K worse off if he hadn't.

This is good for both parties.

Kyle isn't ready to move down South yet. He would be warming the bench just like every other one of our young players over theclast couple of years,

A couple of seasons playing in the top flight and he will be ready at that point.

Hes an attention seeker. Shows how sad he is to say that about Lewis Morgan.

Thanks for the attention

Morgan could easily have signed an extra couple of years.

He was still a cert for a move and would have earned us near a million pounds.

Armstrong worth £7 million.

I would rather have Morgan.

He was a wean then and going nowhere anyway.

Anyway , which employee got abused all last season and by who?

Show evidence please.

Great news re Kyle, but I still expect him to move to Sunderland, some time soon.

And if he does, we get a fortune, thanks to him signing the extension.

Top Class Buddie :clapping

Morgan could have done the same.

Thanks Kyle

Seconded, credit to the lad and irrespective of any 'other agreement' he has show loyalty by re-signing,  the one thing you are not able to teach, encourage or develop in ANY player is something he obviously has;  integrity!
