Leicester Saint
Quite a few fans have booked flights and trains to Manchester which are none refundable , mine certainly is not. Poor show from the club pissing fans around like this. London is quite a bit down from Manchester so no way I would be traveling as it would be an expensive way of going to the game. As I say if this is called off it’s a poor show. London??? Wycombe Wanderers? Pop your nose in an atlas LS!

davidg
Think it's about £60 just now if you book 2 singles instead of a return ticket.
paisleysaint
Been in touch with a fella from Stockport and he said the following: " I'd say the Crown is the best pub in the town, under the Viaduct ten mins walk from Edgeley Park, the Magnet is good too if you like your beers. The main drag which runs parallel to the ground is not the nicest place. The main pre match pub is probably The Armoury on the roundabout now. Leicester Saint
For anyone who's never been to Stockport before, it's a f**king shit-hole. Town centre's a dump. If you're heading down, definitely, definitely, definitely go out in Manchester after the game, not Stockport. If you're cool.

If you reside in Leicester you will know what a shite town centre looks like ! If you love in oadby - I apologise !
Leicester Saint
Good point and well made! If you reside in Leicester you will know what a shite town centre looks like ! If you love in oadby - I apologise ! Yeah, it's not great, but it's ok. Avoid the High St and Belvoir St at night and Humberstone Gate during the day, and you'll be fine!New Walk, Queens Road, Braunstone Gate - all good! And Oadby is for the 'pretend posh'. You want Stoneygate and Clarendon Park for the real money ;-)

Don't worry if you want to slag it off - I'm divorced now Haha! I can slag it off if you like!? Don't really know it too well to be honest! Only ever driven through. And if we don't watch out this could turn into the Leicestershire appreciation thread!! Maybe I'll start a new thread for that.

FTOF
Hadn't realised that Stockport had sunk to the "depths" of the Blue Square Conference North division. I was going to predict 4-0 to Stockport. I'll go with 4-2 now.
