Morgan certainly not ready to take Wylde's place yet(not that Wylde was a worldbeater) as it was men against boys when he came on.

The game was lost when the boy came on The boy will need experience as they will be playing next season
Stu
He's recovering from having mumps. Still? It was about a month ago when it was reported he was recovering. Saw Kello and Osbourne there last night (and judging by Wylde's comments on Twitter he was there too) but didn't see Ball.

djchapsticks
Kello is certainly not worse than Ridgers. Ball is certainly not worse than Arquin.

RussellV1
It took Billy Mehmet months to fully recover from the mumps IIRC
Sonny
Ball is terrible compared to Arquin. Slow. Cannot win a header. Constantly caught in possession. Doesn't chase down. Doesn't link up. Arquin ain't great but give me him any day of the week rather than Ball.
djchapsticks
Ball is terrible compared to Arquin. Slow. Cannot win a header. Constantly caught in possession. Doesn't chase down. Doesn't link up. That could easily be used to describe Arquin as well. He simply doesn't look interested. I'm by no means a fan of Ball but he's been effectively shunted for a guy who is - in my opinion - even more ineffective.
aldo_j
I'd keep Ball now. Reckon he would be successful in the league below.

Drew
Ball can score goals When and where? In a bounce match against an English pub team?
Callum Gilhooley
Ball can score goals Arquin just doesn't look like doing The stats would say different.
Mid Calder Saint
Drew.I am certainly not his greatest fan but he did score at The Emirates against Arsenal. The boy must have had something in the first place to sign for Derby. We are all livid at the shocking season we have had and Messrs Gilmour and Campbell just continue to scorn at us loyal and faithful fans unfortunately. Sonny
Ball can score goals Arquin just doesn't look like doing Ball 24 appearances and 2 goals. Arquin 8 appearances and 0 goals so we are not comparing like with like. Give Yoann 24 games and see if his tally exceeds 2. And besides a scoring rate Arquin ran himself into the ground against Celtic. Ball does that in the warm-up
David Mc
Ball can't even be bothered to keep his body weight at reasonable level.

steve_the_saint
He was offered to Dumbarton on loan in January to free up some wages to sign gow. The player himself didn't fancy it though - it wouldn't have mattered anyway as he was already out the picture after we signed arquin. On a side note, does a players wages get covered if he is injured? If so then maybe this is what we used to free up wages for gow? I'm not disputing the fact he got the mumps but it may have been a happy coincidence that it happened at the same time as us trying to sign gow.
