Scots_Symposium
An interesting first 11 in Inverness yesterday, the Great Dane aside, youthful International trialists formerly of fine clubs. Also, brief glimpses of Murray's style of play: fast attacking and passing. Read more here: tmblr.co/ZGHrKk1pNd_TI Apologies for any inaccuracies, and be kind on my first post! Big Yards
Anyone else concerned about the lack of width in our squad? Carey wouldve been a good addition for this.
aldo_j
Anyone else concerned about the lack of width in our squad? Carey wouldve been a good addition for this. No, not at the moment. Murray is still actively looking for a number of players so will wait for the squad to take shape.

Kendo
Somebody saying on pie and bovril we are not signing the Danish defender anyone heard anything Yes it's on his thread, Murray has decided to let him go.
Stu
http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/spfl/13410510.Fantastic_five_in_mind_for_St_Mirren_boss_Ian_Murray/ Seemed ideal on paper but obviously Murray doesn't fancy him. Would be interesting to know how many of the trialists we've signed over the years have been decent (like Tesselaar) and how many have been pish like Tonet). Also wonder how many we've decided against have gone elsewhere and done a job (Paul Ritchie).
Scots_Symposium
Surprised the big Dane is away, he looked strong on Saturday & brought experience to a youthful side.

ulysses
No doubt we're not willing to pay enough money We've passed on signing him, not the other way about. So, no, not really.
Big Jake
Maybe we were banking on some more money coming in but can't afford him now
BuddieinEK
Why all the theories... Murray was quite clear... He liked him but wasn't 100% and the lad tired quickly. Murray was reluctant to commit at this stage. I'd rather that than the signing 'policy' of recent years!
munoz
Over the two games I've seen him , I don't see this as one we'll regret . Although he looked reasonably assured on the ball and coming out from back , he for me gave away too many needless fouls for my liking . Could a of been a liability . cambiebud
Still no sign of a proper centre half then? Only been about 6 years since we last had one!
aldo_j
Still no sign of a proper centre half then? Only been about 6 years since we last had one! We've had two on trial over the last week. Clearly a position that's being looked at.
