Callum Gilhooley Posted April 21, 2016 Report Posted April 21, 2016 Left early because i was getting a crick in my neck looking one way !! 15 mins to go , septic were treating it like a training session. The (very) young saints team were out fought , out thought & out of their depth. I dont get to see the young team very often & its not really fair to judge on a game against a vastly superior team but there was not one player in that team who looked ready to make the step up.... & i include a lack lustre Sean Kelly in that. Been a great season for the young Buds & hopefully most of the squad will still meet the U-20 criteria for next year . Quote
David Mc Posted April 21, 2016 Report Posted April 21, 2016 Probably missing the keeper, Morgan, Cuddihy and McLear. Not really surprising I suppose. Quote
SBS Posted April 22, 2016 Report Posted April 22, 2016 It was a very young team yesterday. As mentioned above several players missing for various reasons. Quote
santaponsasaint Posted April 25, 2016 Report Posted April 25, 2016 Again lose a goal in the last seconds. But been a good season for the youngsters. Surprised to see McLear playing. Is his loan spell at Stirling over? Quote
Port Saint Posted April 25, 2016 Report Posted April 25, 2016 Again lose a goal in the last seconds. But been a good season for the youngsters. Surprised to see McLear playing. Is his loan spell at Stirling over? Think if it's a development player on loan they can still turn out for parent team. Quote
Ayrshireman Posted April 25, 2016 Report Posted April 25, 2016 (edited) Any news on The boy Morrison horrendous tackle on him and it looked bad Just heard he suffered a double leg break, best wishes to young Mark and hope he recovers well from this bad injury Edited April 25, 2016 by Ayrshireman Quote
notabuddie Posted April 27, 2016 Report Posted April 27, 2016 The development team seem to be yo only good news of the season for you. Hope it transpires to a good Line of young players into the first team Quote
munoz Posted April 27, 2016 Report Posted April 27, 2016 All down to the hard work of the now departed ex head of youth , David Longwell . Will be interesting to see if his successor Allan McManus can carry on the good work . Quote
