Just to say well done, you played us on the last day of the season to get a draw to keep you up last season and since we had won the league a few weeks before you were probably happier than us that day.

Glad things are different this year on the last day, you are back where you belong IMO.  That is getting beat by better teams like us :)

See you next season

GGTTH

Have you seen a lap of honour with the cup,

Have you seen a lap of honour with the cup,

Have you seen a lap of honour, seen a lap of honour,

Have you seen a lap of honour with the cup - have you fcuk!

Good post. Thanks for taking the time. Now, hurry up and sell John McGinn.

A wee ode to Saint Mirren (Updated)

At the start of the season, I couldn’t foresee,

The position we find ourselves, top of the tree.

But we’ve confounded the pundits and bookies too,

Who all had their favourites, but we’re front of the queue.

The League has been won, The team have got there,

Celebrations have started, with 3 games to spare.

Livingston at home, 0-0 was the score,

It wasn’t the greatest but we needed no more.

The players encircled, Jack was up in the air,

Bounced by his charges, but he didn’t care.

Nothing could dampen, the feeling within.

Winning the league, was just sinking in.

The next three games, will be party time

Falkirk played twice, sandwiched by slime.

For those few meetings, let’s all rally round,

And raise the roofs, at all ends of our  ground.

The players have performed, week in and week out,

Some good football on show, and results grounded out.

We had Samson,  McKenzie and Smith,..  times two,

McGennis and Eckersley,  with Stelios  too.

There was Baird, McShane.  Davis, only on grass,

McGinn and Reilly, showing real class.

And Lewis Morgan, who could win games on his own,

Unfortunately for us, now only on loan.

Then came Mullen, Flynn and Hyppolyte,

Added to the squad, heading for the top flight

Sutton, Stewart and Hill, though not all were used,

Were still in the squad, with Ross able to choose.

A campaign to savour, with our Jim and Jack,

And it’s plain to see, The REAL Saints are back!

For your short attention span no doubt.

Too many big words as well for you.

More of a 'Mary had a little lamb' person are we?

How's your colouring in book going?

Jings, like being attacked by a couple of newly born lambs. :byebye

Yes I am sure this shared love will last right up until we play Hibs

If Lennon gets in Jacks face Mr Fowler will give him a square go

I only look for Saints results on a Saturday , call me ole fashioned :whistle

Being a perennial bad gambler, I look for loads of other results on a Saturday usually with the same disappointed outcome.

Hibs supporters seem pretty decent (not like the scum from Gorgie) .

Funny I never really look at it like that. I don't have the ability to classify tens of thousands of people into , decent, or scum. I work with lots of Celts and Rangers fans and they are all decent people, in fact my mate at work is Allan McGraw jnr, and he is only sometimes a tosser :P

So that will be perception then ?

For us to be relatively successful next year, we need to be ruthless. Whilst its nice quite a few other supporters have congratulated us, I liked it when Ton won promo to face us. I will miss the manky [email protected] next season......

Nice to know we have friends abroad. Thank you for your congratulations, Kjell. Unfortunately, I see you have had the kind of hard season we had a few years back ourselves (relegated). :(

Well, as we have shown, there's always hope for future glory. Good luck to Mechelen in Division 2 next season.  I'm sure you'll soon bounce back.

I second that.
Great memories of my trip to Mechelen.

Also great memories of meeting Kjell and his crew at love Street when they came over to see a match before Love Street was no more.

Great team and great fans.
