Oor Gary is right there. Gary Peebles, originally from Foxbar and a member of our cup-wnning squad in 1987

DumboBud
Do you think we could get a St Mirren 11 from Foxbar? I can only think of: Norrie, Gary Peebles and Danny McGill.

Beat me to it Buddiecat. Beckett lived in the “new hooses” up by Spencer Drive. Gary Peebles went to Amochrie Primary and to Camphill for all of his secondary school years. He did indeed play up front as a boy and even when he signed for St. Mirren I’m pretty sure I remember his first few games for the reserves being up front. Akso forgot about Paul McLaughlin or “squareheid” as he was known.
