We should maybe do something like we did with west. An incentive if we sell season tickets for say over 50% of the south stands capacity we only have the away supports in north.

I’ve never been a big fan of Mullen but his form since returning from injury has been excellent. He’s now our joint top scorer with Jackson (okay, that’s only six goals) but he’s clearly having an impact. The goal against Livi was an excellent strike, and it sounds like today’s goal was a belter. Quite happy for Danny to be proving me wrong!

Decent result not great but accies defo have an advantage on that Shitey plastic pitch. We have 5 cup finals now possibly 7 its going to be a really exciting run in which although nerve wracking will be games you really want to attend. I know I am in the minority but still think Kearney made a mistake with his team/tactics on Wednesday night but we still have a good chance of surviving.

Result suits Accies more than us today, but that point and them not getting 3 means they’re still in our sights.
Still a long way to go and I wouldn’t be writing Dundee off yet either.
Today’s performance was a massive improvement to the last time we played them on their living room carpet, so not what we were all hoping for, but not a disaster. Still think they’re will be a lot more twists and turns. Supporting the Buddies has never been good for our health. COYS!!!

The game was simply dire, two teams looked to be struggling for motivation and no ambition on display. The introduction of Christie for them secured the push to get them labouring over the line. We were tired looking and went through the motions like we were wearing lead boots
Horrible experience all round last night, it was fan ticket refund territory under the mis sale of a so called football match.................................

Listening to Oran two things come to mind.
Firstly. He, for some reason, didn't see how bad Nazon was. To suggest that Ducken's workrate was such that he was too tired to head a ball or shoot is, quite simply, ridiculous.
Secondly. He didn't go out expecting anything from the game. For me. The manager should be looking to take something from ANY game at home.
    On the plus side.
I felt the back five worked hard though maybe, with Ferdinand on, the other central defenders perhaps had one eye on him.
Hladky was great. Popescu was as good as usual. Corbu did well. MacPherson continues to improve. A good hour or so for our captain. Cooke showed touches that suggest there's a player there and the other fringe players didn't disgrace themselves. It was the tactics that done for us. Not the personnel.
Onward to the next one. I know we keep saying it, but this one really THE big game. If, coupled with a defeat for Dundee, we win, we're really in the driving seat going into the split.

Kearney's team tonight will only be proven right or wrong dependent on the result on Saturday. Anything other than a win, something we've failed to get against Accies this season, points towards 'why'? There's no free passes when your in a relegation battle, even Dundee held them to the 90 odd minute. This Celtic team isn't special, most their squad played on Sunday and two games in the international break. To say our players are tired is pathetic.

Tactically I thought we were shit. A total inability to get the ball to our players in the Celtic half, or hold any sort of possession. We let their full backs push far too high and overload either side of defence, and playing Ferdinand forced our defence to play on the edge of our box the entire night. We left our two centre forwards isolated, with a limited and immobile midfield. We just invited Celtic to play in our half.

Remember when Ross set us up to let the Celtic back two and Brown have the ball, as they are awful at playing out with it? There was nothing close to that thinking tonight. It was total shitfest pack the box effort. That was damage limitation from the first whistle. The sort of thing you'd have expected when Kearney was first appointed.

They should be able to play 4 games in 11 days easy enough. The only issue would be if it was at the end of a long hard season. It's not been a long season for these players. They don't play international football. We've been gubbed out every cup in the early rounds and they've obviously had no European football.
James Forrest has played 48 games this season. Ryan Flynn who presumably was rested tonight has played 19.

I thought the boy Corbu was fairly decent and may have played his way in to the first team.
Not the first time very disappointed with the lacking of attacking intent, and lack of composure on the ball. I won't be paying to watch us under Oran Kearney play Celtic again if that his attitude to these games. By all means sit back and surrender possesion, but there needs to be a plan to attack once we do get the ball.
    Supporters short changed tonight.

The club have to make a strong stand on that incident at the end.
They have to be asking what they're paying for with regards to Police and Stewarding costs? What are the SFA doing to protect players? What are the club themselves doing to stand up for the safety of the players and fans? Time to stand strong, the club didn't hit the wall and miss when it came to our own fans...
With regards to the game we never came close, we settled for defeat far too easily. Protecting goal difference maybe? We drew with Celtic with a far weaker side earlier in the season... I suppose we'll never know. Saturday is now even more of a must win than before.

If the old guy had stopped singing along with the W7 crew and started singing the Sash then the stewards would have left him alone - his own fault.

Near an age of obscurity when I should really be knocking all these young whipper snappers of the modern era and reminiscing over those halcyon days when our generation were all angels. I have to say I thought the young team were outstanding at Perth. Their support was unfaltering throughout the match.
I do have my reservations about the way the authorities dealt with some of the more mature members of our support. I was sitting well in front of the North Bank and therefore  wasn't watching what was going on behind me but a sudden influx of stewards and police rushing up the stairs attracted my attention. I'm not sure what encouraged such a rapid response but after much discussion between stewards, police and fans in the North Bank the incident fizzled out and the high vis jackets all faded back to where ever they had come from. Judging by their rapid deployment and sheer numbers I assume some massive security or safety threat must have presented itself but I am still in the dark as to what danger I was in or how my safety was enhanced by their actions.
My enjoyment of the spectacle I had paid to watch was disrupted but to be fair how any of us could have enjoyed that performance is up for debate.
An old guy. I use that term loosely, as he was probably ages with myself, was standing near one of the exits below me. His attention had also been attracted by the stewarding activities around our vociferous young choir and he joined in one of their melodies with great gusto bounced twice and rose his arms in the air to give them some encouragement. With out a word of warning the head steward orchestrated his removal from the ground.
It is entirely possible that this man had committed some heinous offence prior to attracting my attention but he looked harmless and I could see nothing about his actions which caused alarm, danger or even annoyance to any other spectators. Maybe once again I had been saved from impending disaster because of swift stewarding action and the guy who had spent all that money not just to enter the ground but to travel all the way from Paisley to be entertained at a sporting event deserved to be short changed and thrown out on his ear miles from home long before the game ended.
There is a big discussion ongoing about Football fans being criminalised for being Football fans and whilst I agree instances of misbehaviour have to be stamped out sometimes I wonder if fans might have a point.
The stewards at Perth may have been acting in our best interests but to the casual observer it looked like overreaction, overkill and a horrendous abuse of the power they have been given to ensure our safety.
No doubt I'm mistaken. It happens every other week. They must know what they are doing.

Sunderland till I die.  (Stick with us its relevant honest)
OK cards on the table. I was a massive JR fan, but I felt short changed and a little pissed when he left in the manner he did. That aside it’s the guys job and the only loyal section of any football team are the fans, so it was probably a no brainer for Jack and that was that. I didn’t instantly become a Sunderland fan like a few of our number, but I didn’t become anti-Sunderland or anti-Jack either I was just disappointed and a bit deflated after he left.
I was at a loose end on Thursday night and started watching Sunderland till I die. Fecking Netflix struck gold with Sunderland. Either they are the world’s greatest match fixers or have the midas touch. No one could ever have expected Sunderland to get relegated from the Championship straight after they had come down from the premier. It made a nice little fly on the wall drama and as a fan who has never played football at any level it gave me a bit of an insight into how players, managers, staff, owners and employees feel about their jobs.
The stars of the show are without a doubt the fans. I really felt for them having to suffer defeat after defeat and watch their team go down again. A bit like us this season, it was heart breaking.
I don’t do much TV, but I’ll be tuning in for season 2 when it comes along. Stewart Donald comes across as a genuine guy, but I’m not sure about his side kick.
Having  watched the series I now have a wee bit of a soft spot for the Black Cats fans and on Sunday I’ll get my Saints top on and head for my local, which incidentally is run by a Sunderland fan, and give his team some moral support for their cup-final.
I wish the black cats well and hope their fans enjoy the day.
That’s the plan for Sunday. Today I’ll concentrate on my own team and our plight.
I'm up for this game. Feck this relegation pish.
Don't forget guys n gals we're the stars of this show. The players are there working for us.
COYS let’s get out there in numbers and get into this Dundee mob. We have a game of Cup Final proportions today

The momentum we had a few weeks ago seems to have dissipated but we have another chance against Dundee tomorrow and if we aren't in the Last Chance Saloon yet we're certainly in the same street!
It's one of those games that's gonna be about karaktur and hopefully we show more than them tomorrow!
    As ever COYS!

I do get where you are coming from but who's is suggesting we go gung ho?
If we sit tight and hit on the break as per their game plan, there is a high chance of a 0 v 0 draw. 3 points is a big prize and passing them is there if we take it.
You are right they sat back and nearly got something against Tic but Tic missed many glaring chances that day.
They tried the same tactics against Hearts and also lost  1  v 0 where as we got a draw with Hearts by scoring 2 goals, but could have won.
They lost 4 goals to Hibs and Sevco last month too.
I never suggested a straight 2 - 3 - 5 - as we don't have 5 fit strikers anyway. I suggested 3 CB with 2 WB's covering the FB positions, but able to push on into the midfield or wings on occasion. A solid 3 in MF and our 2 best strikers.
Dee will play their hit us on the break tactics unless they are behind - then they will have to come out a bit. So getting right into them from the off and getting the first goal would set us up nicely.

Thought it was a missed opportunity last night that is not the same killie team as their first visit to paisley. Defence were good last night thought midfield let killie play too much and jackson had an off night but he has a thankless task absolutely no support. He chased a ball over the top last night the keeper just beat him to it and there was not 1 saints player over the halfway line. We were unlucky not to get a point but definitely think tactics were wrong last night if we are going to go 1 upfront we need at least one midfielder in a more advanced role to support striker
