Poor old stubbsy getting it tight already. Was never a fan of his appointment would have preferred the box office kluivert.  but stubbsy is hear on the merit that he knows scottish football. kluivert and guitti dont! Stubbs should have looked at the guys doing it in the championship. Halket. lamie.  oware all have bags of experience and plenty of game time.  thats the defense covered. Midfield was covered maybe have looked for someone who could supply set pieces (we miss mallan for that service). 
Up front i hear folks talk about quitongo maybe not a bad shout as back-up but our best strikers over the years have been tall guys 16 stone or more who don't get knocked of the ball easily  (lavety. Yardley. Higgdon. To name a few)

Hard fixtures coming up Heart's away on saturday and Celtic at home next week. Don't want to see us getting rid of another manager but also don't want to see a manager go when it's to late.

They seem to be treating him like a big signing, he's doing interviews for the website, wee videos from the pre-season camp, modelling the strip. The club, if not the fans, seem to be quite sure he'll be a big player for them this season. I'm sure he will, he's got bags of ability, I reckon he'll go on to bigger things again soon.

A successful day even the weather didn't hamper it to much plus the club shop was mobbed. they had a selection of football kits in stock. So all in all a successful and enjoyable day for the club and the PR department.

The thing that was worrying for me wasn't the hard challenges put into our player's but the lack of hard tackles back.let's face it most teams in our league do it so if we are to progress in the  championship this season some times we will need to roll up our sleeves and give as good as we get.

In jack I trust.so if we don't see Samson much this season then you know why.he dropped langfield and Galagher for O'Brien and if either keeper makes to many error's.well they just need to look back to last season.

Whatever we think of Rae/ Murray, they were basically in at completely the wrong time....... For me Tommy Craig/ old BOD put us on road to disaster, with even Jack finishing a mere 11 places below what a sacked Danny achieved..................

Hope that the issues with the new kit are resolved and there is a shop full of unfaulted goods ready for purchase in time for the open day.

I hope wee make 1000 as I met a few folk on Tuesday night that usually sit in the main stand.they had bought season ticket's for the west stand.let's sell they last couple of season ticket. It was good to get use of the extra toilet and food outlet on tuesday night it made a big difference.COYS

Looking forward to this. Should be a good test of our state of readyness.

the sevco fans are having to make do with the kits they were boycotting for the past year - and WORSE, they've now run out of those, too.
more amusing than that are the pics being shown of Sevco's new "stars" appearing in ex-player's kit with the lettering (poorly) replaced.  There is running a club economically and there is making ends meet....

Currently on holiday in mainland Spain and there are several Celtic strips on display everyday. The Celtic shop must sell some amount of stock, the figures for shirt sales must be see Celtic inside the top 20 even 10 in Europe . In Britian only a handful of English clubs will sell more than them.

Will hopefully pop down on my return from holiday and buy myself the home top for playing at the dome on Wednesdays and get my son the full kit for his birthday. Over £100 just like that.

The Mrs whent down on Friday but could only get my sons size all other sizes sold out.hope to get it on monday but hope to get it for going on holiday in 2 weeks time.to many old firm tops on show in Spain.plus I've never scene so many people walking around with Celtic tops on, in and around Glasgow (xscape,braehead,silverburn)let's stock the shop and drown them out with a sea of black and white.

Last I heard of Tony Fitzpatrick he was running a paper shop in Seedhill!
