A new bid to buy St Mirren will be submitted some time next week a reliable source tells me, it will be an English based consortium led by Warwickshire based businessman Denys Shortt (who is from a sporting background), part of the consortium includes a player who played in an FA Cup final in the 1980s, not sure who that is as yet.
