He did say a few weeks ago he would have to resort to scouting. Waiting on young loan signings is hardly that. I despair at the strength of our squad. Mayhaps but AFAIK Kelly hasn't played CH for the first team so I'd go with moving Tess and playing Kelly at LB, although JG behaving himself would be the best option of all! David Winnie was a left back or midfielder until the semi final and Neil cooper was relatively small. peter Godfrey was our only out and out centre half and he didn't make the squad after injury. we,ve got loads more guys who can play central defence today than back then!
