I'd be more confident if our performances at least showed some fighting spirit but we seem to play the same old players and get the same old results. I really struggle to understand why Snoopy isn't on from the start, he has a bit of speed, get Gow on up front and get Sadlier in, at least give us a chance from the start. Hamilton are on a bad run of form, some new heads might come with some confidence to start a game. I'm beginning to dread Saturday. Hamilton are on a bad run, and next up they play us. ronaldo Posted February 21, 2015 Report Share Posted February 21, 2015 (edited) I won't say we are a lost cause yet, but someone needs to get into the changing room and get these players to start showing a bit of fight and desire, we can't expect every player who plays for the saints to care as much as the fans do but, they make bloody good money from us and the minimum they should do is work as hard for it as we do. They will come out with a spiffing pricing idea to get some more bodies through the doors next week to bolster support in an increasingly vital game. They will try one of those 'pay what you can afford' deals like ICT. Maybe one of those 'in for 10p' one-offs like Accies... Or an equally interesting idea of their own making. We are completely rudderless and shambolic in all areas of the pitch. Our BoDs dealings, lack of ambition and 'communication' have been an absolute disgrace this season. It goes from worse to worse. I know Aberdeen are miles ahead of us, but that aside, can any Buddie see any positives or tiny green shoots? I can't. County's turn in form is a real worry too. Depressing stuff. Admittedly it was to talk about the alcohol ban rather than the omnishambles of the last few years.... What formation were we playing today? Surely to god we didn't name two wingers in the side yet start Tess at left mid and then put McLear in the middle? Why not start Snoopy? Why no Sadlier in the squad at all? And after another week of defensive disasters will we respond in our usual fashion by signing another midfielder? We're going down and it's mainly the board's fault. They should never have appointed Craig, they took too long to boot him, they took too long to name a replacement and then they gave it to a rookie manager with a guy who has no experience of working with a first team. All in the name of saving money - and they sell our best player to boot. No doubt the board would rather we end up in the play-offs rather than stay up or go down with a 10th or 12th finish due to the cash a game against Hibs or Rangers will generate. We quickly brought in a couple of under 20s from Spurs and West Ham. One has made the bench and come on in the 2 games since, the other hasn't figured at all. We've also brought in Gow to sit on the bench. There's no evidence of any signing strategy at all. Why bring these guys in if they're not ready to play?
