ulysses
I think we should just wait for the announcement first before we jump onto anything, especially something from The Sun. Anyway, if it turns out to be Rae (who done a decent job at Dundee according to some of their fans), then there is no choice but to give him full backing. We really need to turn the season around right now, so let's just be as supportive as possible. Also, I'm just going to squint at the dugout and pretend it's Alex Neil. norrie82
I'm sorry I can't get my head around this decision. He has two seasons experience as a boss and we need experience. We need saved. Let's be honest folks were on the slide and it's not going to matter anyhow. He might save us but we're absolutely light years away from a premier league return. It hasn't been decided yet! At the very least it hasn't been announced. We have no idea who the manager is going to be. If it is Rae, fair enough, but for now...just relax man! norrie82
Ok but isn't it experience we were told we need? How does this marry with the comments on Monday
kevo_smfc
Has this whole rumour not stemmed from McBookie who base their odds like any other bookies on the amount of stakes placed?
gazmc83
One of the things that Gilmour stressed At the AGM was to not listen to the newspapers , so I'm sincerely hoping that the Sun are way off the mark

billyg
If it's Alec Rae he'll get my full backing. Bit of a nutter , but we've had too many mice in the hot seat recently , and to see a manager with a bit of passion will be a nice change ! Ronnie
Alex Rae stated on Clyde 1 last night that he hasn't spoken to anyone about the job. Brian Caldwell also stated that he is currently looking at cv's to put to the board either both of them are lying or The Sun is no which one I believe. Isle Of Bute Saint
From the Sun, must be true then. On the other hand I will back any manager coming in that poor soul has a job and a half to fix. Just hope he does not like reading social media.
