Flareybob Posted December 28, 2015 Report Posted December 28, 2015 Alex Rae's first signing for St Mirren will be the loan signing of Harry McKirdy from Aston Villa. Quote
linwood buddie Posted December 28, 2015 Report Posted December 28, 2015 Are you sure its not Hari Kari from Samaritans FC? Quote
nickysmfc Posted December 28, 2015 Report Posted December 28, 2015 Hoping he gets experienced players in who are up to the job Quote
saltcoatsbuddie Posted December 28, 2015 Report Posted December 28, 2015 if we keep defending like we are at present harry f**king Houdini couldn't help us escape relegation Quote
leolovesstmfc Posted December 28, 2015 Report Posted December 28, 2015 Not impressed if this was to be true Academy player's from premiership clubs haven't proved fruitful in last 3 seasons... CORNELL Swansea. CRAP DRURY Man city Crap Plumer Man city crap Caprice Blackpool crap Can't remeber his name boy Craig brought in from Spurs? Again crap! Even Conlan and Howieson former Academy player's neither look much good! We as a club have been blinded by the success of Newton and Dummet... Hope im wrong and if he was to sign he would have the impact of the 2 mentioned above! I think the best Loan signings were Concalves Newton and Dummet since then are there any that's been worth it?? Quote
saltcoatsbuddie Posted December 28, 2015 Report Posted December 28, 2015 sanoupe ,but to be fair I don't think he was given many minutes to prove what he could do, Quote

I wouldn't be too concerned. Flareybob has a 0% strike rate in his predictions/wind-ups. I wonder where Billy Clabby is these days.... Quote

fmckinn Posted December 29, 2015 Report Posted December 29, 2015 More chance of signing Harry Potter Quote
Doakes Posted December 29, 2015 Report Posted December 29, 2015 I thought Drury was alright. Wasn't he top scorer? Albeit in a season of shite Quote
pod Posted December 29, 2015 Report Posted December 29, 2015 Signing Harry Potter Heard he's a wizard of a player. Quote
Doakes Posted December 29, 2015 Report Posted December 29, 2015 Heard he's a wizard of a player. Might cost a few quid, ditch that idea Quote
bluto Posted December 29, 2015 Report Posted December 29, 2015 Might cost a few quid, ditch that idea That'll get them rowling in the aisles.... Quote
djchapsticks Posted January 1, 2016 Report Posted January 1, 2016 I thought Drury was alright. Wasn't he top scorer? Albeit in a season of shite Drury was a dreadful player. Perfectly summed up by the rate that the quality of club he's signed for has fallen. Plummer on the other hand was very decent but unlucky with injuries. Sonupe had zero chance at all to show if he was good or not. Cornell, whilst pretty poor was better than Ridgers or arguably Langfield. Caprice wasn't cut out for football, much like Luke Conlan isn't. Quote
insaintee Posted January 1, 2016 Report Posted January 1, 2016 To be fair we'd have done better giving Flareybob the transfer budget then handing it to Murray, Craig, Teale or Lennon Quote
Lord Pityme Posted January 1, 2016 Report Posted January 1, 2016 Is the answer to the thread title..... "Gow Earns One Year Extension to 2017"..? Quote

JJ McG Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Nathan Flanagan signed 2 year deal after release from hearts. Deal done. Will he not be 1 for the under 20s squad? Quote
big bud Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 I would suspect he would be however I would be happy to give him some game time just now. Quote
Stevie88 Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Will he not be 1 for the under 20s squad? You would hope so cause I don't think another 18 year old boy is what we need right now. Quote
Dibbles old paperboy Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 You would hope so cause I don't think another 18 year old boy is what we need right now. Rae seemed to say we have a lot of young boys stepping up from develoment team football and a fair amount of experienced players (Thommo, Gow, Goodwin, Webster, Langfield) but hardly any in the 25-30 age bracket (except Watson and Agnew) and he reckoned we needed more in the 25-30 age group to balance the squad. You could argue that of the senior players only Goodwin has been decent so far this season. Quote
