Mid Calder Saint
Well first things first quite simply we have to sign a keeper. I have zero confidence in Gallacher.Chased by Sevco and Hearts.Wont come off his line they score two goals inside the six yard box yes I know Hutton made a mess of the passback but the keeper is slow to react.i really fear for us now. Seaside Nipper
St mirren. Lacking organisation, lacking mental strength and lacking fitness. Still surely the only way is up from here now. Hard to believe though on watching that today that we are a full time professional outfit. Mind bendingly bad. Dibbles old paperboy
Can't remember a group of St Mirren players who cared less about what they did on the park than the current team. That was like watching BB football at junior section level, could have been about 12-10 at the final whistle, the only step up from junior section BB level was you didn't have 20 outfield players chasing the ball in 1 big group all over the park! Tonight we have shown we will score goals! So onwards and upwards! I suppose a positive spin could be that we will witness history as St Mirren play in the 3rd tier for the first time in club history. TopCat
No surprise the scoreline really. Our defence is a joke. In John Sutton we have the 15-20 goal striker we craved, but what use is that when we ship so easily at the back?We need a manager who can come in and build from the back. We need Gus MacPherson. Drew
First 20 minutes of the 2nd half was reasonable. Aside from that, it was very poor. Desperate times.

The defending from both sides was absolutely dire and I can only assume Hutton had 4-3 on his coupon today. What a pass to set up the winner. Aye but Stuart, did you not hear the chairman at half-time? He's going to build a coffee shop! What more do you want? Actually, don't answer that. I think we maybe just deserved the win, neither side are going anywhere until they get new centre backs though.
Spam_Valley
A stray pass across your 6 yard box... Jesus christ son what the f**k are you playing at ? We're absolutely disgusting. This is worse than Coughlin's era. No doubt.

On the positive we did that today with no manager , scored three away from home [emoji15] Bound to get better, maybe give a wee scare to some of the part time teams in the league. In junior section BB you wouldn't have that either Dibble. They play 7 a side You're right though. Neither side could defend at all. The failure to close out crosses out wide, the inability to track the man they were marking, and some god awful positioning. Why the hell did Jack Baird show Reilly towards goal in the first half? Honestly I would have struggled to accept that kind of defensive performance from under 12s yet this squad has two former Scottish full caps in the defence and two ex Scotland Under 21 internationalists. Good luck to the next manager, whoever the hell he is. He'll f**king need it

Lethal89
"We were very unlucky" and "The players did everything I asked of them". Aye, very good McManus The defence was poor but you can't argue the second goal going in off of Webster was bad luck.
