Good interview. Very positive but with a no-nonsense focus on the basics as being a given. Encouraging to see the youth system is also a priority for Robinson which should always be the case at St Mirren.

Early days, but its starting to feel like this season’s team is going to be a different animal compared to last season’s, in a good way.

Looking forward to seeing the new players and Gallagher has the potential to be a really big signing for us.

Considering the "frenzy" that went on last season against Robinson it's a good sign he "seems" to be showing he's a man with a plan.

Of course it's only speculative at this point and the proof of the pudding will be results, as always.

I suppose after the first set of games are completed we'll see if he's the real deal.

Given his past record at Motherwell and his wish to play a high tempo game, recruitment so far and his stated desire to blood young talent then he deserves a season at least before judgement.

Agreed. County were slow burners last year but patience paid off.

Last season we won 10 drew 14 and lost 14 and ended on 44 points. Turn this into win 14 draw 12 lose 12 it's 52 points.

Given that we only scored 33 goals last season I'm confident that the approach and changes by SR cam deliver this.

That won't be enough to win the league, sort yer numbers oot.

No it won't, it will be shite 'cos we'll be saying "if we only turned a few of those draws into wins, we'd have been third". It's always the same. [emoji16]

Judge us in 10 games time?

SR fills me with 0 confidence that he’s got what it takes to build us a squad.

id love to be sitting here in a few weeks thinking we’ve turned a corner but in reality, so far, he’s weakened us & we weren’t great to begin with.

Surely he has long since been found out ? Best to do the sensible thing and replace the manager at the start of the season before it’s too late.

With who? You and Elvis as a double act?

Fergie's Furies managed to play delightful, attacking and thoroughly entertaining football, scoring lots of goals in the process........

Despite a lot of the pitches then having dreadful surfaces and only having ONE MATCH DAY BALL TO CONTEND WITH.

Mark O’Hara recognised as having a good game. Always in a position to receive the ball and knows what he is going to do with it when he does and keeps moving. A great addition.
