Fantastic set of results but, as far as QotS getting to the Premier League? Not for me unless that pitch is ripped up and grass relaid. I would love the powers that be to make these pitches phased out in the top flight. No chance of that I know.

Totally agree about the pitch, i hate them. The ball bobbles about constantly and only those who play on it benefit usually.  I'd like to see them get up and be able to afford to scrap the plastic pitch.

Agree with that. The ball yesterday was doing weird and wonderful things on that pitch. At one point I'm sure one of our players managed to get back spin that Tiger Woods would have been proud of. An absolute joke of a pitch.

There's more grass on the main stand roof than there is on the pitch at Palmerston. But I agree with most on here. I detest these plastic pitches there a disgrace. bad enough having them in our league but to have them in the SPL shows how amateurish Scottish football has become. pro game run by amateur numpties. God I hope and pray we never get one at SMP.

Thanks to St. Lucifer and EAB for posting the highlights for those of us who can't afford Buddievision. Excellent coverage from QoS TV, especially the shots from behind the goals. Also thought it was very fair of them to show our fans and team celebrating at the end of the game. Definitely a step up from the UWS efforts I remember from the Paisley 2021 stadium in the days before Buddievision, but maybe things have improved since the club has started the pay-to-view arrangement.

Wasn't able to get to the game on Saturday but it looked as if we were in command for much of the game. Also showed how much Lewis Morgan does for us, creating two of our three goals and scoring the other one. To be fair, the Queens goal was also very well worked and finished. Another three points and another game ticked off Jack's list towards the point where we can no longer be overtaken. Brilliant!  COYS!!

Buddie vision is great value at £4.99 a month I subscribe month to month the fact you can watch the full 90min is great. Some games I don't find the score so I can watch the game as if it's live. £1 a week that works out roughly.

What a weekend. I'm going to miss those jaunts to Dumfries.

The best thing about the day was, in the main, the togetherness of the team and the support. The St Mirren Family and I mean that quite literally had an absolute ball. Travelling with the Buds every week you get to meet a few of the players and their families but Dumfries was overflowing with our heroes nearest and dearest. Players Dad's, Girlfriends etc were all out in force having a laugh and supporting the Saints. I heard a story in the Pub after the game about big Harry Davis sitting at the match with his two kids. Big Harry might be able to stop the biggest baddest ugliest forwards in the league but apparently he couldn't catch his two waynes who were clambering all over the stands and giving him the runaround.

On the park wasn't it just great to see the players celebrate with the fans. Wee Lewis Morgan really wanted us to know what it meant to him and Kyle was no different.  Well done wee Danny Mullen for his first goal too and what about Stelios. That boy really does where his heart on his sleeve. The way he was egging us on you would have thought he had scored. I do like that boy.

After the game I had the good fortune to spend a bit of time with Gavin Reilly on the train Journey to Carlisle.  What a great couple of guys him and his dad are. I won't bore you with all the details but Gavin did confirm what we already know in that Jack Ross is the man, and that the players love the support they get from the stands.

He made special mention of the "Cammy Cammy" song and told some funny stories about the effect it had on training after the Aberdeen game. Every player knew the words to the chant by the end of the game and while it didn't stop them hurting after a 4-1 doing, it sort of helped them get over it and it was in there heads for a lot longer that the 33 minute rendition we gave them. The players thought the supporters were especially brilliant that day.

A special mention to the Queens fans who made us very welcome in the Devorgilla bar. We got a wee sing song going about "the Queens fans manners and how they spend their tanners heading to Dumfries on the railway line"

Later on one of the young ladies in our company asked me what a tanner was. I tried to explain it was a sixpence or half a shilling but she was none the wiser. "Two and Half pence" I explained.

She looked at me as if I was daft "Half Pence"    Oh Well. One benefit of being an old fud is I can remember 3 title wins (although in my lifetime there have been four) and two major cup wins.

It definitely looks like another Party is coming soon.

See you all for the Next Game.

COYS

Brilliant.

Excellent highlights by QOTS and 4 good goals in the game.  I thought Eckersley yellow could have been a red if we had an other ref on the day since he was late into the challenge. Great to see the happiness in the players faces when they are celebrating with the fans. Wish our game with Falkirk was still on next week :(

How much does a PDE  cost these days ? Would think more fans than not can afford £1.00 a week as you will know Gary there is a lot more on Buddie Vision than just the game.                                                                                                                                                        . Div idea of it being included with the season ticket is a great idea.

Not for those who aren't interested in it. The season ticket is meant to save money by paying up front. Not a means to extract more cash from individuals.
