Isabella Duke
You seem to forget that we had no income for over 2 months and that money would be required to continue to pay players wages over that period. On the contrary, the club would have been taking in season ticket money during those 2 months...
aldo_j
I am with you 100% on the shortfall point, but im not having it that we dont have ANYTHING to buy a couple of players, We've bought one player in about 10 years.
linwood buddie
We also need to maintain and run the training ground , this is something most of the other clubs don't need to budget for .
Murray7
We've bought one player in about 10 years. More than that, we paid for Aaron Mooy, Gareth Wardlaw & Peter Bradley.
davidg
Stephen O'Donell, Eddie Malone and Stewart Kean also.
Mart-C87
I thought only player we had paid for recently was imrie!! Don't remember a fee for wardlaw n bradley but vaguely remember some kind of compensation for mooy, listen we could go on forever but fact is we are well short of Players this season and are going to find it difficult, board will have to open purse at some point for new players wages if we want to improve on league standings! aldo_j
More than that, we paid for Aaron Mooy, Gareth Wardlaw & Peter Bradley. I tried to block them from memory along with the ones Davidg mentioned. Cheers ya cunts!
Rabinho
Didn't think we paid a fee for Bradley but definitely the others mentioned. Edited August 9, 2013 by Rabinho
ds10
Given that impressive list of players for whom we've forked out transfer fees maybe Danny is right to be focusing his efforts elsewhere.........
insaintee
Noticed that Douglas McNeil has gone very quiet on twitter.............. Think he must have got the PM from Lovestreet telling him to sit tight.

Maintaining your own training ground may well cost less than hiring pitches all over the place which is what other do have to budget for... Drew
Would you entertain or consider http://spfl.co.uk/news/article/player-availability--andy-kirk/ At 33, he is in the Thommo age bracket, and probably not ideal from that point of view. I can't say I know a great deal about him, so have no idea if he would be of the required standard.
linwood buddie
Its been very quiet since the last game regarding signings ,with the exception of Adam Campbell [ don't think that will happen now] hopefully its the old saying "No news is good news " and a couple will be here for the weekend . insaintee
Would you entertain or consider http://spfl.co.uk/news/article/player-availability--andy-kirk/ Andy Kirk would be a decent back up but why pay a senior wage for back up when we have Reilly and Brady able to do that. Its a first pick striker we're looking at Edited August 12, 2013 by insaintee
buddie
Andy Barrowman and Stefan Wolfarth are still free agents, either of them would be decent.
