Murray7 Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 This just appeared on the SPL's YouTube channel; The one at 50s is my personal favourite (because it also shows John Potter hit a glorious volley), with the Fir Park one a close second. The ones against the Old Scum and P*essley's Falkirk are also up there. What a player that boy was. Quote
davidg Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 That video also highlights why we want to stay the Falkirk away from Darren Barr !!!!! Quote
santaponsasaint Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 Great memories of a great player Quote
Mr Zo Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 Great memories of a fantastic player. A player I will always look back on fondly because of moments like the ones shown in the montage above. Who can forget that great goal in the cup at Tannadice. A player I would welcome back even 5 year's on. Quote
Lethal89 Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 A great player for us but time to move on, I will always be thankful for that goal at fir park Quote
djchapsticks Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 Brilliant player, despite what some maniacs on here say about him. He'd be thriving big time in our team now as we'd be encouraging him to make those amazing late charges into the box, rather than dragged down by negative tactics. Quote
class of 76-77 Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 Fabulous player and one who i will always look back on with great respect, his goals were spectacular and so important to us and who could forget that magnificent double in the 4-0 mauling of the green bigots. Quote
sm74 Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 Apparently he nearly came back in January, he wanted to but his club wouldn't let him. Quote
DannysRevolution Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 Most natural goal scoring midfielder i've seen at saints possibly even in the SPL The guy just oozed class and would be thriving playing with thommo/gowser in the team at the minute great player with a catchy song Quote
E=Mc2 Posted July 6, 2013 Report Posted July 6, 2013 Loved the goal celebration from Gus McP................. Was there a good movie on at the Phoenix he was missing? Quote
Kendo Posted July 6, 2013 Report Posted July 6, 2013 Andy was a fans favourite. Fantastic memories of his time with us and one of our best ever signings. Also loved the Andy Dorman do do do song Thanks for the memories Andy, you'll always be remembered as a top player for us Quote
Hambud Posted July 6, 2013 Report Posted July 6, 2013 I'm glad this has been posted, reminds me how good he actually was. People talk that team down, so much, Dorman, Mehmet, Dargo etc, they were 1 stupid mistake away from being legends the same way as last season's team are now legends. Sometimes they were a joy to watch but that's easy to forget the way some of the numpties on here talk about them. Some of Dormans goals were excellent, and the technique and composure in front of goal is something that we sadly miss. Even Isma didn't finish the way Andy Dorman did. Quote
nickysmfc Posted July 6, 2013 Report Posted July 6, 2013 He was probably our best signing in last 10 years along side thomohawk how good would he be alongside thomo and gowser! Quote
Drew Posted July 6, 2013 Report Posted July 6, 2013 Really great to watch some of Andy's goals again. He was some player for us. Thinking back to the Falkirk match, we leathered them that afternoon. It was one of the best St Mirren performances I've ever witnessed, along with one of the best atmospheres at a game (I'd probably go as far as to say it was the best atmosphere). There are a few matches that it has been a genuine privilege to attend, and that was one of them. Quote
JJ McG Posted July 6, 2013 Report Posted July 6, 2013 I loved Dorman more than Carey, do do do do Andy Dorman! I got lifted for singing that in the street in lochgilphead 1 night, great memories! Quote

JJ McG Posted July 6, 2013 Report Posted July 6, 2013 drunk and disorderly seemingly, I even carried on singing it in the back of the van I was that happy, I must of been 21 or 22 at the time. Quote
NeilPar72 Posted July 6, 2013 Report Posted July 6, 2013 Good to see highlights of that game at falkirk, was beginning to think that all evidence of that game had been erased. Would be good if the SPL makes the full highlights availiable at some point. Quote
stevenw05 Posted July 6, 2013 Report Posted July 6, 2013 First player the boy really idolised and the best song apart from the Bawbags Are Blue. A great player and a nice guy. Quote
