Don't think you can play trialists in the Renfrewshire cup any more. Seems to have had a "sparkling" career path so far........................... Still,he's relatively young. Magic Monkey
I hope he doesn't get to Gretna and follow that other infamous left back, back down south again. What I'm saying is, Aswad: Don't Turn Around.
ds10
Seems to have signed to two year deal at the beginning of last season. This would mean we'd have to pay for him. Can't really see that happening!

ds10
He could easily have been/be released in the Imrie/Guy stylee..... Started 40 or so games for Grimsby last season as well as being involved in a couple of 'England' squads. Doesn't really sound like the kind of player that's likely to be released. Drew
I'm going to hate myself for asking this, but is there any substance to this rumour (source....that sort of thing)?
FTOF
Mark Stewart came on as a sub for Morton as a trialist in last years final ! Not according to this team list. Morton: Gaston; Taggart, Reid, McLaughlin, Dyer; Wallace (Graham 70), Stirling, Hardie (Rutkiewicz h-t), Tidser (Halsman 76), O’Brien (Campbell 84); Weatherson. Subs: O’Ware, Flak Anyway, I could be wrong. Edited July 19, 2013 by FTOF

mikesmfc
I think Ross Harvey was the last trialist to play for us in this fixture. It was maybe 3 or 4 years ago at St. Mirren park.
Murray7
Nobody is on trial just now. I believe we offered to take Sean Higgins to Spain as a trialist, but he turned it down and signed for Stenhousemuir.
