aldo_j
Career has hit the buffers a bit, but not adverse to him joining. Can play on either wing so will hopefully give some width that we need.

JJ McG
Him and Campbell on the wings would give us the plenty of pace, hope we can pull this off.

That'll be relief for you JJ, given you haven't pulled it off since Carey left!
Lex
Has hardly kicked a ball since he left Rangers (RIP) in 2012. Quite a gamble, let's hope it pays off.
foxbar_bud
Was a good player for Rangers and thought he would do well when aberdeen signed him in the summer. i would be happy with this move, would give him regular football and hopefully we would see the best of him Seen us linked to a few players now, bit disapointing none have been a centre half. stormtrooper
If the Wylde move comes off then I think it'll be a fingers crossed scenario for us. A promising youngster who put in some impressive performances in the SPL, his career has been in limbo since leaving Ibrox. We've seen it time and time again - young Scottish players who think they are the dugs baws by getting a few games with the big two then disappear up their own arse. If the signing happens then this should be viewed by Wylde as a fantastic opportunity for him to get his career back on track. All depends on his attitude and how interested he is....... rea
Reasonably good chance of this happening IMHO. only issue will be if it flags up his availability to other clubs prepared to offer more. However I recall there is some background relationship between him and the Club so perhaps that will nail his decision

billyg
Let's hope we don't have Aber and him on duty on the same day at hospitality !
div
Left side of midfield has been a problem for us this season so on paper would be a decent signing. Been quite injury prone since leaving the club formerly known as Rangers though and has obviously struggled at Aberdeen after signing a 3 year deal in the summer if he's getting punted already (Gary Harkins anyone ?). So, in summary, mibbaes aye, mibbaes naw.
Sonny
12 starts since 2012 - 4 for Bury and 8 for the Dons. But we are now not in a position to be fussy.
Magic Monkey
Switch to 4-4-2 confirmed? (Can't see it as you' be dropping at least two of our best players.) Or perhaps sticking with the 4-2-3-1 with Wydle and Campbell out wide. Something still has to give - could Newton and up on the bench? Front six as follows: -------------Goodwin - McGinn/McLean----------- [Campbell/Newton/Teale] - Gowser - Wylde ----------------------Thommo-------------------
Scabby Dug
Douglas McNeil @DouglasMcNeil5m Gregg Wylde will be joining St Mirren from Aberdeen. Just trying to find out if it's a loan deal or permanent.
Griff
Hopefully turns out to be a good signing , Haynes , Pawlett and McGinn keeping him out , so maybe not a bad signing , pace on both flanks would be good too ,
Bud the Baker
Not being in the current Aberdeen team doesn't make him a dud, plays in a position we don't have a natural player for, bit of a chequered career since leaving that club but that's why he available to us - let's hope it works out. Drew
Spoken with a Dons supporting colleague regarding Wylde. Pace seems to be his main attribute from what has been apparent on the few occasions he has featured for the Dons. Pace and little else, unfortunately. His crossing ability is very suspect by all accounts, and though he can break with the ball, his decision making lets him down. In saying that, and as BtB has just pointed out, he is struggling to break into what has proved to be an effective Aberdeen line-up, so we shouldn't read too much into this. Will he be guaranteed game time with us? As has also been said, we require options on the left side of midfield, especially with McLean being out. With Bahoken back in the fold, I imagine we can write off much hope of bringing in another striker (given we now have Campbell), so that leaves the centre of defence and left midield as the key areas where we need to strengthen. To that end, Wylde might not be a bad option. Like everything else, we'll just have to wait and see.
irvine_buddie
Think he could be a good signing, having pace on each side and a natural left sided midfielder will give us more attacking options. Think we'll stick with the same formation, means dropping either Newton Mcgowan or Mclean when everyone is fit which isn't necessarily a bad thing as Newton and Mcgowan have been poor the last few weeks. Kello Kelly Mcausland Mcgregor Naismith Goodwin Campbell/Teale McGinn Mclean/Mcgowan Wylde Thompson
