saintnextlifetime
Superb Film F.S. D-Day to D ( DISASTER ) - Night Good of HSS and Bongo to share Tops. I liked the way that HSS laughed , it somehow , for me , summed up the plight of being a Saints fan , particularly regarding that night . . Where is Bongo now. . madmitch
If I remember correctly, it was fooking freezing that night too. I didn't have a bunnet of any description. I thought my ears and nose were going to snap off it was that bad. And then the Saints did that ..... edited for bad spacing Edited June 6, 2014 by madmitch
Desperately Seeking Susans
Europe seems today to be in another planet for Saints. Why not aim for it this season?
shull
We aim for Europe every season. ( we do try to win every match we play ) Thankfully our superb Board of Directors dinnae put the Club in financial meltdown trying to achieve it. BigD
I thought for a moment the dreaded 'h' word was going to be Harkins. Left the HAmmarby game less than 5 minutes before the end to beat the crowd( had taken a guy in a wheelchair ). By time got to the car ..................... saint in exile
Just goes to show that Saints losing late goals is not a recent phenomenom.

If you aim is to achieve SPL survival then that's as far as you'll probably go. If you aim higher you'll end up higher. Sure, every club wants to win every game but it's tapping into that psychological reservoir which makes the 'wee' team beat the 'big' team in a cup round. thepaisleypanda
I'm too young for Hammarby, my generation had the League Cup Final that must not be mentioned. I feel sorry for the old guys who saw both. Anyway, here's something to cheer you up... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrWI-1R33y8 hoi! Less of the "auld guys" if you please! yani
Don't think I'll ever forget the feeling of that night in the North Bank. Here's a cartoon I drew years ago for one of the fanzines that was an attempt at driving out the demons through humour.. Didnae work
scrappy coco
I remember leaving the north bank at 1-0, heading for the caledonia street exit, through the gate at the security fence and by the time i got to the top of the caley end terracing it was 2-1 "unf**kingbelievable", TBH its about all i remember about the game. traumatised maybe... I mind the next day though when i got suspended from school for slamming the nut on a celtic fan who was winding me up.... funny enough I've seen him down at some of our home games lately, maybe i knocked some sense into him....
