Gordon Urquhart
Terrible draw. ICT like most teams, love playing at our place.
Mid Calder Saint
Lets hope both clubs do something to attract a decent crowd. We had just over 3000 for the recent league match and now season tickets will be invalid for the cup the onus is on both clubs to come up with something otherwise we will struggle to get 2000 crowd. Bud the Baker
Not a great draw but on the other hand if we do win then there is the possibility of an easier tie in the following round. Um, I guess we've just got to hope that we can find a solution to our problems, as ever COYS....................
HSS
Worst draw ever 5 all spl ganes tic v hearts rangers killie. Expect to see Alloa in Europe next seasonThat's the beauty of the cup mate. There could quite easily be 7 top league teams out in this round so it makes the tournament winnable for so many. I love the Scottish Cup,just hope we get a better draw in the next round. PS.Remember we beat Inverness at this stage of the 87 cup win. Qarsaan
At least it is a home draw. Maybe my memory on this is wrong, but last time Saints beat ICT in the first (third) round, was it not the last time Saints won the cup? If so, then .... Morton away for the next round
saintargyll
5 all top division clashes weakening the opposition in future rounds for the rankgers
Seaside Nipper
ffs, what a dismal tie...... oh well, underwhelmed and here comes that uninspired feeling, yet again. The flatlining 2014 / 2015 season continues
Frank McGarvey' wonky legs
One good thing is that it will be 3pm on a Saturday. Proper Scottish cup tie time. Lets face it there are 6 more attractive games for tv than ours.
TopCat
Ross County away or Hamilton at home.... NAP. Close enough... NAP! This is an absolutely terrible draw for us in reality, ICT away was the only worst draw in the hat IMO. Had it been a Celtic and Aberdeen or a Dundee Utd we'd have least have got the consolation of a relatively big gate before our exit. With this game we are playing a team who are clearly better than us, and we will get a rubbish gate. Absolute nightmare on both counts. If you aren't going to get a big gate you at least want a team you're probably going to beat. St Mirren 2-1 ICT ... The march to Hampden begins .... nedflanders123
Tbh, we would struggle against most clubs and just hope we have a fully fit squad to choose from plus Jan transfer window will hopefully allow us to strengthen in the required areas. Vambo57
Some very good ties out so far......... Interesting there are 4 all-Premiership ties... I am sure they were making it easier for The Zombies to make the final... but buggered that up slightly... too many hot balls? How many home cup ties - as opposed to away ties - have The Orcs had since they came into existence?
