Our red and blue effort wasn't to everyone's taste, but at least it resembled a football strip, with red and blue being a tried and tested combination. However, it doesn't matter whether that strip is to honour Heart's past history, it is an abomination. Yellow and pink!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They must have used JD sport's strip designers. They should have stopped at the wee badge when honouring the past. The point is it does resemble a football strip from the early 20th Century when they all looked like jockeys. I think that is the point of a historical strip.

Danny
I'm sure Saints also wore a primrose yellow kit in the 1900's so be careful Buds we might resurrect it too! Edited July 15, 2016 by Danny
Eric Arthur Blair
That was "cream" not primrose yellow.

Eric Arthur Blair
Newcastle first wore black and white stripes in 1894, a full ten years after Saints first wore them. They look like us [emoji41]
Eric Arthur Blair
We were also 6 years ahead of Notts County who didn't start wearing B&W stripes until 1890. We may well be the first club in the world to wear B&W stripes [emoji41]
shull
And now, from the South Stand the other night. WE ARE AYR UNITED. And we bloody call our Change Strip an Away Strip. Meaning if we had a proper black and white striped kit, it would only be worn at Greenhill Road. Absolutely outrageous. Hopefully there will be a few irritated yins. shull
There must still be time to destroy and dump this horrendous Saints Kit which was worn on Tuesday night.
