Another completely uninspiring signing surely there is a youth team 19 year old able to step up and take Jack Baird place on the bench.

Whatever happened to the young boy who made his debut at centre half in 3-3 match v Livingston last season???

Scott Glover has signed for Albion Rovers. Nick McAllister is on loan to Albion Rovers.

Recently on loan at Orange County according to the statement, does that mean he needs to quarantine?

First team regular until mid-September , so I assume he's been back since then !

No, there isn’t one.

Remember the game well, was thrown in the deep end without a lifebelt, let's just say he wasn't ready for that game, mind you he was up against Lyndon Dykes I wonder who thought that was a good idea

he's signed for a club that at the moment are a joke.

Who's laughing.   Besides, how are we going to survive without income.   Possibly losing revenue from advertising.

During Sept the board said the club were OK and had no need to sell players. The club was in sound finance. Is that another lie.

Only if some are still in business or have an income.

Welcome to the club Daniel! Hopefully see a left back in, was hoping for some creativity in midfield but times running out.

Also, some of the comments on this post are embarrassing, facebook is much worse, but ffs what is going on😂 people moaning we’ve sold our captain and signed defensive cover, we where always going to sign cover regardless if Kyle went or not, it’s a position we’ve been crying out for. Put the daggers down😂. It’s been a rollercoaster of a day but we should be backing a signing not slaughtering it before we’ve seen the boy kick a ball!

I agree as far as needing defensive cover and it not being associated with Magennis but is a 19 year old going to be any better than the cover we had before releasing Baird?

We'll find out after we see him play. We've had plenty of players younger than 19 start games who were better than squad players we had.

With all due respect, we needed cover in defence and we have now got one. Saves us probably from relying on one of our midfielders dropping  into  defence when we are short. Still, folk raging as per usual.

For anyone bringing up Jack Baird into conversation, he is 25 years old and he was beyond that 'potential' stage. We now have  a  19 year old who Jim  obviously trusts to come in when ready. We  have had plenty of success from players coming in to defence at this age, with Scott Cuthbert, Kirk Broadfoot  (17) and Dummett to name a few.

Of the team that started against Aberdeen last Friday night,  not one of them was a loanee.

  Nothing new in that, most teams up and down the country do it.  We loan out players.
