Mr Zo
Allegedly Newcastle have sold 500 tickets with a few more expected on the night. I hope Pardew gets a good feel for the club and everything Danny is trying to do at the club. Hopefully Pardew will be convinced enough to send some more talented youngsters to come and learn their trade at our great club. The last two lad's did not too bad and have gone back far better players. Should be an interesting experience and looking forward to it. Gordon Urquhart
If only this match had been promoted as a full Newcastle game, instead of the initial under 21 nonsense, the crowd tonight would have easily have doubled. I gave it a miss for that reason and am generally allergic to pre-season friendlies. If the above is indeed the NUFC team there are some big names in there. In terms of PR our club has always known how to shoot itself in the foot....... Hope all who do go, enjoy. Come on the Saints.

Lex
Newcastle are passing us off the park 2-0 easy and we need to regroup at half time or we could be facing a right doing here This isn't far off the Newcastle first choice XI, of course they are playing us off the park. Think we are doing okay relatively speaking. I will say one thing. McGowan and McGinn as deep midfielders is not working and will never work. Harkins is the central attacking mid in the triangle and he's hardly touched the ball. We cannot be sacrificing the creative ability of McGowan and McGinn to accommodate a haddie like Harkins, we need to get them further forward.
