irvine_buddie
If you think it is such a happy occassion then go ahead, knock yourself out! 100K a year (ish) to manage a football team? Worst case scenario you get sacked and paid your wages up? With pleasure! I did lead Saints to the premier league title on champ manager once

Kemp
Pretty sure I'm not! I think you failed to get a joke and have made a tit of yourself. No confusion here. I'm standing down. Tommy, fancy a pint after the job centre on Thursday?
Kemp
I think Teale / Longwell is the correct decision for now. And lets give them a chance as caretakers, no need to rush in to a decision for now.

Kemp
Agreed. However, I can feel the heat off the coming meltdown about Longwell already. Nonsense, he is just assisting. All Paisley Bodies united now! Lets get ourselves to the piggery and back to St Mirren park.

DLBud
Absolutely the correct decision. Signings were rubbish, results were garbage and his relationship with the fans bought him absolutely no leeway. Why Teale and Longwell though? If it's only a stop gap measure why isn't it Teale and Goodwin as the current coaches?
whydowebother
I will bet my mortgage that we don't get humped on Saturday. We might not , but a fair chance the team might
TopCat
Decent chance for Teale. If he can get some results over the next few weeks, it's his full time. Let's all get behind Gary Teale, Saints new (interim) manager.
exiledfan
I hope this banner ad on sky sports news is not an omen for a teale and Goodwin partnership!

northendsaint
Agreed. However, I can feel the heat off the coming meltdown about Longwell already. Why would David leave a successful team who just demolished Hearts 7-0 to join a wee diddy team at the bottom of the league.(just saying). I'd go as far as to say I absolutely guarantee that we won't even lose on Saturday I'm in a frenzy again.
billyg
Why Teale and Longwell though? If it's only a stop gap measure why isn't it Teale and Goodwin as the current coaches? Because it's short term , and in the short term Goodwin will be an automatic first team choice. Best let him concentrate on that !
DougJamie
That is also nonsense, Danny Lennon will be in a decent job before long. Look how pish we were before and after his arrival, he made some mistakes but learned quickly. Kemp' Danny has applied for every job under the sun, he don't get it, after watching Craig I have realized that Danny wasn't actually that bad. Hope to god I never say that about TC, at least his record was better with us than it was with that Belgian shower, Geeez

DougJamie
I have to say-i am happy that the mistake that saw Craig appointed has been PARTIALLY rectified. But sadder in a greater measure that this mistake was made in the first place. This board broke McPherson, they almost broke wee danny and now they will most likely have broken TC. How much hope is there that a sane and sensible over-acheiver of a manager is sitting poised to move to Greenhill rd? with our track record i would say not much. Bloody Well said And do we really lack so much class that we actually CELEBRATE the dismissal of someone who will be damned lucky to find alternative employment in football? Others hoping that the departed manager gets less money than he is due need to take a look at themselves, that is actually a bit sick. Christmas spirit? Not much of that round here! pozbaird
The 'SM' in SMFC to mean something else? Sheik Mansoor. Man City 'associate club' - giving Man City young talent a place to play in a modern stadium on an award winning surface with a dedicated training complex. It all fits. New home kit to be Man City's red and black stripes, away kit Man City's light blue. JD Sports told to fcuk off, Nike International step in. Huge investment in our infrastructure sees DVZ and Basher put on the Hall of Fame panels and the adverts on the scoreboard become legible by cunning use of Helvetica Bold. Updated HoF panels - legible scoreboard - supporters bar - league champions - Champions League last 16.... In that order. Remember where you read it first. Campbell Kennedy to change name by deed poll to Bin Sur Campbell Sheik Mirren.
